After 1867, the mail rights were in the hands of the Prussians, the family found other ways to earn money with agriculture, bancing and with Gloria the Schlossfestspiele. In my opinion really exemplary.
And on my side it´s the family history, especially the Princesses of the house, which makes the family more interesting.
And the Thurn und Taxis are not just Gloria, IMO.

The girl on page seven is called Xenia Maculan according to the article. Obviously she studied in Edinburgh "Landschaftsarchitektur" (country side architecture??). Currently she is living in Zürich - similar to Albert - in order to carry out a traineeship with a well known "country side architect". Please forgive any inaccurancies in translation

Albert is now 27. I think with 30-32 he could get married. That would be great. A new Princess of Thurn und Taxis. Not that the "old" one is bad, but you know what I mean.

They seem to be a cupple for quite a long time...? August 2009...and they must have been a couple for month til he took her to such an official event...
May be she is the next Maculan to marry ?
