Question???

Is There a Princess of Isenburg, (Sophia?) Who dated Prince George Friedrich of Prussia. What Happened to that Relationship? I know another Isenburg Princess married an Archduke, she just had her second child with him a few weeks back. Are there any photos of the Hereditary Fursts of Both families? Prince Casimir-alexander von Budigen and Prince Alexander von Birstein? There both single???

Yes there is a Princess Sophie von Isenburg who was dating Prince Georg Friedrich. Not known what happened with their relationship. Another sister of her is married to the Fürst zu Wied. from this Family there are hardly pictures as they are very privat. There are more from the Princely Family of Ysenburg und Büdingen.

Here you can find a photo of her. I don't know why they broke up but they still seem to have a good relationship cause she was at the concert for the Princess Kira foundation on Burg Hohenzollern last year (that's were the picture was taken) ;)

She is the sister of Archduchess Katharina of Austria-Este, isn't she?

Does someone has a picture of the whole Isenburg-family?

I have been checking the Isenburg geneology here: Isenburg

I was wondering if anybody knows why in 1898 hereditairy prince Leopold renounced his rights in favour of his younger brother. Not due a morganatic marriage as 4 years later he would marry princess Olga of Saxe-Weimar.

Prince Ludwig zu Ysenburg und Büdingen married Chantal Toelle (35) on October 4th. The celebration took place at Schloss Glücksburg. Prince Ludwig is the youngest son of the late prince Ferdinand and Duchess Elisabeth of Schleswig Holstein Sondernburg Glücksburg.

The bride was born in Hamburg. The couple works & lives in Frankfurt.

Does anyone know the House/Family Laws pertaining to marriage? Sophie is marrying Prince Georg Friedrich, but what of the heir to both branches of this family; do they have to marry equal or can they marry commoners?

The Princely Family of Isenburg is catholic and the Princely Family of Ysenburg and Büdingen is protestant.

Interesting. And the Isenburgs have any unmarried Princesses hanging between 33 and 18?

Yes,so far there is Princess Marie-Christine von Isenburg who is 31...

There are also 2 more unmarried ones,Maria Stephanie(1969) and Catherine(1976),but they obviously do not fit the range...

And from the Isenburg und Büdingen branch there are also Princess Felizitas (b. 1980) and her cousin Princess Dorothea (b. 1986).

Posts discussing a possible bride for Prince Rafael of Orléans-Bragança have been copied or moved to the appropriate thread in the Imperial Family of Brazil subforum.

Prince Viktor von Isenburg-Birstein (b.11 April 1979) [youngest of three children of Franz Alexander, Prince of Isenburg (b.1943) & his wife Christine, nee Countess von Saurma, Freiin von und zu der Jeltsch (b.1941)] married Jungeun Anes Lee on in the Parish Church in Bruck am der Leitha, Austria, 5 October.
