Ernst Sighting!
Not very interesting, but I spotted Prince Ernst August last week while I was on vacation!
I was in Paris (I live in Philadelphia, USA), and was walking in the Place Vendome, across from the Ritz. I passed a man walking with a group of other men and KNEW that I knew him from somewhere. At first I thought it was a journalist I couldn't place, but by the time I was at Rue de Rivoli, I realized it was ol' Ernie. I guess if you're going to see Euro nobility, I was in the right place!

Ernest and his ex.wife had a lot of time to chose names!!!! It had to be difficult for Junior and Crhistian remember their names! Image that some1 ask your name, and yoou start: Ernest August andreas Philip..................The other person will get sleep!
Why on the Earth they put so much names?

That is their name!??! Whoa imagine having to remember all that!!! what is with royal and extra long names?  it's not like anyone is ever going to call you by their full name  ...unless they get in trouble with their mum and she start yelling "now you come back here Ernst August Andreas Philipp Constantin Maximilian Rolf Stephan Ludwig Rudolph"

Ernst August and Christian are the heir and the spare to the Headship of the Royal House of Hanover.
All the names have significance to the Hanover dynasty, and to their mother's family.
Remember, they are very high-ranking aristocrats, and bearing the names of one's ancestors is all part of the deal.

Who?? EA??? IŽm sure he looks like his father....if you put a pic of him and EA Jr., you see how they look a like. Christian is more of a mix..but, of course, looks like his daddy...hehehe...

Does anybody know what EA and Christian's relationship is like with Caroline. They must feel torn between their father and his new wife who hurt their mother. I wonder if Chantal and Caroline ever meet at family occasions and how they get on (maybe they just avoid eachother)!?!

I don't know this for sure but I think that things between Caroline and EA and Christian are pretty good, still things might be a little weird. I have a feeling that while Caroline and Chantal aren't rude to each other when they do run into each other they're not exactly friends...

Perhaps they donŽt hate Caro, but in the first time sure they did (not hate her, but didnŽt like her..,) You know it wounŽt be very nice if your dad marry her lover, and she was the reason for their parents divorse. I donŽt know how was their family, but in most of all, mum is who spend more time with the children and when Chantal discover his husband with other woman, she was angry and EAjr and Christian had to heard all the things that her mum has said, or saw her sad, and it wasnŽt happy for them...

I've got no idea about the realationship between Caro and Chantal, probably they never meet, but EA jr and Christian surely spend much time with Caroline and her children...EA senior once said, soon after his marriage, that his and Caro's children were very good friend; plus, I saw some pictures of Andrea and EA Jr in Ibiza last summer, they were on a boat, and Chantal was with them, so I guess Caro's children have some kind of relationship with Chantal.

I think EA and Christian attitude depends on how things went between Caro, Ernst and Chantal; I don't have direct news so I can't judge ...
Nathalian, I don't have the picture, but is the one in which Andrea and EA were together on a boat with some girls (Tatiana included I think), and Andrea was lighting a cigar...I'm pretty sure one of the people on the boat is Chantal...
Edited to add: one of the pics in the previous page of this thread was taken that same day, but you can't see Chantal, I think she is the blond woman hidden behind EA...

YEah i read that somewhere too...there is a picture somewhere where you see Caroline with Chantal and Ernst when they were still a couple...i guess Chantal thinks Caroline is a husband stealer so the friendship of course deteriorated.
