I am supprised to hear that Alexia is expecting again. That is a happy news. But I am a little worried about her health. Because she is not so young. I hope mother and child are both healthy.Take it easy,Alexia.

I'm sure she'll be fine. Plenty of women have kids in their 40s, including her cousin, Infanta Cristina. Were there complications with her other pregnancies?

I think that Princess Alexia's children are among the cutest royal kids!!!!

There´s no hint that Alexia had some problems in the past with the delivery of her babies. She just seems to "pop" them out very easy. She left hospital in all three cases after three or four days and it was always a normal birth, which means no caesarean.
I´m only a little worried that she will have four children of very young age in proportion of her being already 42. I know some women who have one or two children of that young age in her early fourties but not four! In case she wanted a fourth one I had expected her to give birth some time in 2006 and I was a mixture of surprise and reservation that she waited once again two years after her 40´s birthday to have another one. Little Carlos will IMO be even more pampered and lonely in a way if the baby is going to become another girl. I find the "constellation" in Cristina´s case more convenient: There the only girl is also the youngest child.

Alexia is so beautiful when she is smiling. I love the both pictures. Her smiling is naturaly and I believe she is happy. May it comes from her pregancy, may it comes from the summer.

I totally agree with you. I have always liked Alexia very much, she seems to be leading a peaceful life in Lanzarote with her husband (Guapooooooooo !!) and her children

The baby will be born in the Clinical Teknon Barcelona, as other children of Alexia. According to a recent interview, Alexia will move to Barcelona last month of pregnancy and will take with her the little Carlos, while the girls continue with their father in Lanzarote.

Why is it so important for the baby to be born in Barcelona that she has to be separated from her husband and daughters for a month?

She said earlier in an interview that she feels very comfortable with the doctor that also attended her with other children. I think it is just a case of feeling good there and the good medical care.

La Princesa Alexía de Grecia dio anoche a luz en la Clínica Teknon de Barcelona a su cuarto hijo, una niña que se llamará Amelia. Tanto el recién nacido como su madre se encuentran en perfecto estado, según informó hoy el centro médico.


El nacimiento se produjo a las 22.20 horas y el bebé pesó al nacer 3,9 kilogramos. Se trata del cuarto hijo de Carlos Morales Quintana y la Princesa Alexía de Grecia, hija mayor del Rey Constantino y la Reina Ana María.

Ana María de Grecia estuvo hoy en la clínica junto a su nueva nieta. A mediodía salió del centro junto a su yerno, Carlos Morales, y los tres hijos mayores de éste y Alexía: Arrietta, Ana María y Carlos)

A primera hora de la mañana, la Infanta Cristina visitó a su prima durante una media hora con sus tres hijos varones: Juan Valentín, Pablo Nicolás y Miguel.
