Theodora's always been plump. She seems to have put on some weight since going to university, but she's never been svelte. She's a big girl, and she seems to have gotten a little bigger since she left home.

Of course, she comes from a big family, so that plays a part. Both Constantine and Anne-Marie are heavy-set. Pavlos is thin, and Nikolaos was thin (he's putting on weight, now, too), but Alexia, Theodora and Philippos have always appeared a little plump (though Philippos seems to be shedding some of his puppy fat).

There has not come any member of the Royal Danish family? It seems to me to be strange, I am thinking about remembering that to Odysseas's baptism none came either. Does someone remember if they came to other baptisms of the Greeks?

yes, that's Prince Nikolaos's girlfriend. her name is Tatiana Blatnik.

Frederik attended Constantine-Alexios' baptism -- he's a godfather. The Greeks were invited to Nikolai's christening, too. But they've skipped the other recent Greek baptisms, though I know they attended Theodora's and possible Philippos' baptisms in the 80s.

A good point lula. I always thought that Frederik and Nikolaos were close but maybe not. It seems that the Danish and Greek cousins aren't as close as the Greek and Spanish cousins. Although Anne Marie is close to her sisters.

Felipe, Cristina and Elena now have all been chosen as godparents to at least one or several of Pavlos and Alexia's children. Alexia is the godmother to one of Cristina's sons.

But isn't only Frederik a godfather to Pavlos's oldest son? Joachim isn't a godfather to any of Pavlos or Alexia's children, nor are any of Benedikte's three children.

It seems that despite their busy schedule, the Spanish royals, especially Queen Sofia, always makes time for her Greek relations. She even visited Alexia in the hospital all three times when she had her children as well as attended their baptism. Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte can't say that they even attended the baptisms.

It seems as if the greeks were closer to the danish royals when Queen Ingrid was still alive.

Benedikte's daughter, Princess Alexandra zu-Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg is a godparent to Prince Odysseas-Kimon. Alexia was a god parent to Alexandra's daughter Ingrid and Nikolaos is a godparent to Alexandra's son Richard.
