They seem to be a very loving couple. On the subject of the engagement ring, wow!!! it is HUGE! I agree, it does look as if it has been in the family for awhile. That's great!

Christmas 2006, Hotel Palacio do Estoril (it's the same hotel where Prince Frederik of Denmark and other royals stayed when they came to Estoril last year to the 100th Edition of the ISAF Sailing)

The posts in this thread that deal about the dispute between the Cadaval sisters have been moved to this thread in the forum of Portuguese and Brazilian Royalty. Apart form that, Charles-Phillipe and Diane have their own current events now in the French forum, which can be found here. The dispute about the Anjou title can also be discussed there so we can keep this thread for discussing the actual engagement of the couple.
