Hi everyone,
Any idea how LA met his bride?

Vicky
Maria Margarita's sister got married with LA's friend. I think they met in the wedding party. ;)

His older brother Francois was such a cute fellow. How did he die? His death must have been a hard blow for the whole family.

wonder if they have known each other for a long time. kinda surprise . i understand that luis has moved to venezuela too. afterall, she is from a prominent family huh.

Does anyone know what happened to his father's title, Duque de Cadiz? Are titles passed on to the heir?

No, this title return to the Crown. Was not an hereditary title. Here, in Spain, Louis has not titles and rights to sucection.

François died in february 1984, and he born in november 1972. He only have 11 years old when the family (The Duke Alphonse, François, Louis and the babysitter) return of a weekend in the Pyrinees for Pamplone, and they have an accident. François died two days before, Louis was ... I think was a week in coma, the babysitter also was hurt and the Duke was in coma a very long time and people don't tell him that François died until he was recovered by Louis order.

Thanks for the pictures Lyonnaise. That was a long honeymoon!

Thanks so much for the pics. Am I the only one who thinks he kind of has the upper body of a middle aged man instead of a 30 something year old? Especially if he's sporty?

I have to agree with you. Maybe he's been just sitting around for the last few enjoying the honeymoon.

Yes, maybe that's it. We'll give him the benefit of a doubt.:D They've probably been eating all kinds of rich, fatty foods during the recent holidays, too.:)

its either to much beer or bread u see yeast make your stomach swell

You know, if he were a female royal or noble newlywed, we would all be saying, "Maybe there's a baby on the way!":D Sorry, that just struck me as humorous.

lol- you'rs a mess queenanne
did he have a lot of money before he was married and now does he get half of his in-laws money? do u think its a love match or money? i guess it dosent matter but i'm just curious to see what other think?

I like margarita so much!! She had a wonderful education, she seems so happy and she has a very good taste for cloths.
I wish her the best for her future!!!!!

i hope they don't divorce. they seem nice to me.

I read in a french magazine that he waited three years to get engaged because he wanted to be sure that he was really in love. So, I don't think they will divorce.

i am glad that he didn't rush into it. he is smarter than he looks

Because General Franco chose Juan Carlos as his heir, not Don Alfonso?

ok i didn´t know that Franco selected him to follow. Why did he that?

It's a big can of worms,

short story King Alfonso XIII father of Don Jaime (LA's grandfather) made it know to many people even before they revolution that he expected his one healthy son Don Juan (Count of Barcelona ,father of King Juan Carlos) to succed him if the monarchy were to be restored in Spain. Also Don Jaime had renouced any claims on the throne but then years later mid 50's ?
changed his mind and persueded a clain to both Fance & Spain it caused a big rift between the two brothers :( and upset the mother Quenn Ena. Franco used that information to dangle the "carrot=succer to him " in each branch of the family. It was around 1968 after the birth of Felipe, that Juan Carlos became known as "Prince of Spain" Franco did encourage the LA's father to assume he was recongnised and royal and by marrying Carmen be the King but as we all know that didn't happen.
I dont thinkthe Spanish Royals family hates LA I just think they (King JC) just wants him to know he (LA) has no place in their offical line and treat him as a distant relation if LA gave up all the French & Spanish claims they would probably be friendler to him.
