Hello

Her name is Margaret Withers, she is definitely Eurasian, half American, half Malaysian if i'm not mistaken (a friend of a friend) and I have heard nothing but good things about her, a gorgeous person with an even more beautiful heart so it is no surprise that Prince Mateen has chosen her to be his girlfriend. They met at school as they both went to Jerudong international school. She seems to have "met the fam" and holidays with them.

In reply to these royals (Puan Mariam's children) being "snobs", though I respect your own opinion, I offer readers mine. They are sweet kids with a lot on their plate, they may have been born with a silver spoon in their mouths and have had everything they've ever desired by at least they're down to earth. They offer up seats, sit on floors, eat "nasi katok", hang out with their friends at the beach, cafes, the mall, go to the cinema etc. They're pretty normal considering their riches and this is never a bad thing. Did you ever stop to think that maybe all the pressure put on them when in Brunei is a little overwhelming? May this "childish" behaviour is their outlet? Again, this is only my opinion.

Now I may not know these royals on a very close personal level but I have met them a couple of times and I do know they're adopted siblings and it isn't a rare sighting to see Azim, Azemah, Fadzilah or Mateen walking about with their friends, playing badminton or having a meal around Brunei. I'm just about 99% sure that they are allowed to date whomever they please, royal blooded or not.

Also, Brunei although barely liveable in terms of entertainment for us commoners, is far from boring for said royals with Prince Mateen having recently (last weekend if im not mistaken) had a celebrity filled "leaving" party as he's off to further his studies in the UK.

We all know that they are all very close with their mother, but recently I saw that they are close to the Queen's children, often fondly calling their older brothers "Abang" etc and asking how they are and hoping they are well. More importantly, they are very close to their father, the Sultan. All these kids are on Twitter and they speak of him, as well as their other family members, lovingly the last time I checked. Azemah often refers to her mother and sister Fadzilah her "heart". Pictures of them blowing birthday cakes surrounded by their siblings and father are shown as well so it seems they are pretty family orientated.

Again, this is what I hear and sometimes see, there seems to be a little bit of bitterness out there about these kids so hopefully this will show the human side of them.

damn cool. hopefully they can last long tgther. she must have been such a wonderful girl that prince abdul mateen would want her as his companion. nice

GUEST OF HONOUR, Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bulqiah, graced the Balapan Track and Field in Berakas for the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics Brunei Darussalam (SOBD) 5th National Games yesterday.

Held over three days, the games will feature 200 special athletes compete in five games, track and field, Bocce, football, bowling and Young Athletes (Aged 8 and below). HRH Princess Fadzillah graces Special Olympics | The Brunei Times

And about his lavish clothing and those blings he has, he just loves fashion. Apparently, he likes experimenting with fashion. Beauty knows no measures, right? And I do not know if Princess Fadzilah is dating anyone.

Don't forget his own record label and his own fashion line ;)

They're not exactly big snobs, they're just having fun and if you respect them, they'll respect you. Except for Azim... he's a bit... wild. :ROFLMAO:

I went to the same high school as Mateen, and he hangs out with he friends all the time. They went to the cinema together, dinners together, hanging out at the malls together. All the time with friends. Although I heard Mateen had a hard time segregating his true friends from those who just want to be with him to be popular, unfortunately. I think Mateen is going to Sandhurst this week for the full military training, 2 years. Lately Fadzillah and Azemah has been playing badminton and aerobics almost every nowadays at Empire.

And yes they are actually very close with HM Sultan. Almost every afternoon, HM Sultan drives down to Istana Izzah and plays badminton, and then after badminton he checks up on the siblings if they're home.

Im curious about the adopted children of Hjh Mariam. Why are they so arrogant? They're not even royalty but they treat people as if they're someone with high status. The real children of her are More humble than the adopted ones. Im speaking based on my experience.

After being divorced from the Sultan, she married again and adopted children?

No, she didnt get married again. But i think she adopted children long time ago before the divorce not too sure about that. But they're adopted. Im not talking about all of them being arrogant. Just a particular one. Just dont fancy the attitude of someone whos not even part of the royal family but act as if hes in one. the royal family are so humble i admire that. Sadly they have other people sharing their wealth and fame who doesnt even deserve it

Dear members, I’m wondering if anyone is interested in Puan Mariam? I’ve recently become obsessed with Puan Mariam and managed to find some of her information from an old book and from this forum. Also I’ve found her recent photos from her adopted children’s Instagram. I’m wondering if any of you here know how’s she’s doing these years. Just anything. Met her in person? Any photos of her, old or new. Would love to see more of her younger photos. Thanks!!!
