The first time in history? The pope has met with the Patriarch of Moscow before...in fact the current patriarch was at Pope Francis's installation...and previous popes have met with other patriarchs as well.

That headline is not accurate....they pope and patriarch's have met plenty of times before this event.

In the Pope Francis's installation was not present the Russian patriarch. He was represented by Hilarion (Alfeyev), Department for External Church Relations of Moscow Partriarch https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papal_...f_Pope_Francis

Do you get confused with meetings of the popes with other Orthodox leaders?

I am not sure if Reuters is accurate. Patriarchs of Moscow never attended Popes' installations.

To the best of my limited knowledge, Patriarchs of Moscow never showed any enthusiasm to meet with Popes as their conditions for such meetings were very rigid.

... and His Holiness Pope Francis is no exception. He can get angry, lose his temper and severely admonish rudeness like every other human being on this planet. After reading the article, I think he had just cause to react as he did.

Yes I agree and you can see in the footage below that he was trying to shield the poor child in the wheel chair,people can be so reckless and thoughtless at times.

I've read a number of times that he has chronic back problems. I can imagine that it hurt and scared him to be tugged over like that. No doubt he chatted with God to help find more patience next time...

To be honest, from all of the actions and deeds that have made up HH's public life as the Pope over the past years, I would be willing to bet my last hot crossed bun that Francis' concerns were more on the child in the wheelchair than himself. That's why his remarks "Don't be so selfish" were appropriate to me.
