Thank you for your interesting photos, Weinyer. They are truly sad...
Do you know if some Royal from the Pacific Islands attended the Funeral? I think I saw a woman with a little crown of flowers with the word "Samoa" written in it. I also noticed (or I least I suppose I noticed her), the Maori Queen among the people who followed the coffins. She is just behind the woman with the "Samoan" flower crown... Vanesa.:( |

I would imagine that there were members of the royal families of Uvea, Sigave and Alo, the three kingdoms that make up the Wallis and Futuna islands.

The Sydney Daily Telegraph reported today that King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV "is gravely ill in a New Zealand hospital".
The King has been in Auckland for treatment for poor health since April, returning to Tonga to celebrate his 88th birthday on July 4.
