I know that the Guillaume, Felix, and Louis attended schools in Luxembourg for awhile, then went to a bording school. I haven't found anything about the others yet, but I'll assume that they're doing something similar.

Guillaume went to the Robert Schumann school in Luxembourg and then attended Le Rosey.
Felix and Louis went to the Beau Soleil boarding school in Switzerland.

So far, I believe, no one has managed to find out how the issues of Hola! are numbered. The mag came out last week, or week before that but isn't on sale here yet. For some reason the library which subscribes to it gets it before the shops.

Thanks pasiphae...I'll have to wait for that to come in...we're usually about 2 weeks behind here. (So slow!)

Cool

Hello all,
here are the pics from Hola! The quality is as it is, as the big one was in the middle of the opening, and had to be scanned in parts. Another interesting notion - on Thursday I was reading the local newspaper here in Oulu, Finland, and there was an article about some large wine auction. The grand duke is apparently selling few hundred bottles from his cellar, the bidding starting from 500€ per bottle. As they probably come in four or six bottle cases, if you have some 2000-5000€ extra in your pockets, you can own something of him... if I can find the paper, I'll post more specifics.

-Lisa :)

Great pictures Lisa! :) Everyone looks great in them -- the one of Henri and Maria Teresa and Maria Teresa with Alexandra are particularly special.

Thank you for taking the time to scan them in and to share them with us here. :)

Default Grand Duchess Maria

Hey Yall,

Did anybody notice that Maria has worn that same outfit, now it looks like she has worn it for the second time now. That gray two piece with some black lace trim on it. It looks nice but I'm just wondering do she know that she has already worn that same outfit already in public.?

I'm sure she does....she's worn a few outfits twice now that I've seen- her turquoise suit from Felipe & Letizia's wedding was worn at Guillaume's swearing-in ceremony for the State Council, and I know she's worn the Elie Saab dress from the Danish wedding more than once.

Default reply to grand duchess maria

If I was her I would feel a little embarrassed to be wearing the same outfits over and over again, knowing that everyone in the world knows that I have money because that was one of the reasons why Grand Duke Jean allowed his son Henri to marry her.

Simply saying, "If people know I have money why wouldn't I buy or have clothes made for me originally to wear, especially if I am going to be seen out in public and having my pictures taken."

I still like her though, regardless !!!!!:)

well, the idea that she "recycles" her clothes simply shows, imo, that she's one of the ppl and that she and her family lead "normal" lives, just as normal ppl do- the common touch theory/idealism. i think it's good to see royals recycle clothing, perhaps it's the reason they have money, the fact that they don't go out and buy a new outfit for every single occasion. it allows ppl to relate to them more.

Sure posting like crazy today... the turquioise thing has appeared also on the national day last year, there was a photospecial in the old faithfull Point de Vue. She apparently likes it, even though I find the cut of the whole thing weird. But the colour works for her.
