Default Godparents and Godchildren

As Guillaume is the godfather to the young prince Emmanuel of Belgium, I was just wondering if anyone has information on his godparents or any other godchildren that he might have--or any other member of the Grand Ducal Family?
Thanks!

I think Emmanuel might be Guillaume's first godchild [unless, of course, he was made the godfather of other children that we don't know about, friends and family for example].
This is a good question because the only people in the grand ducal family whose godfathers I know for sure are Princess Alexandra [her godfather is Prince Michel de Ligne, Henri's cousin] and Princess Marie Gabrielle of Nassau [Prince Jean's eldest daughter, her godfather is Crown Prince Philippe of Belgium].

Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume is also the godfather of his youngest brother Prince Sebastien and his first cousin Prince Paul-Louis.

Brothers I can see. Grandparents....eh. Like King Harald is one of Ingrid Alexandra's godparents. That seems strange to me.

I wouldn't say it were bizare. Princess Caroline of Monaco named her daughter Charlotte the Godmother of her daughter Alexandra.

Whoa, really? Before or after His Holiness became a Pope, though (sry not a roman catholic, so I don't know when Benedict XV was pope.)

That would have been way before he became the pope.

I believe you're thinking of the current pope, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, who is His Holiness Benedict XVI....

Pope Benedict XV was the Pope from September 1914-January 1922.
Grand Duke Jean was born in 1921, so Benedict XV was indeed the Pope during this period.

See here.
