More pictures of the funeral of rtl.lu

1. Queen Sofia of Denmark, Queen Silvia and Carl Gustav of Sweden and Queen Margaretha of Denmark
2. Hered. GD Guillaume, GD Maria Teresa, GD Henri and King Albert II are in deep mourning
3. inside the cathedral
4. Prince Jean, the twin brother of Princess Margaretha was reading (a little bit a surprise as the TV speaker said, because he was in a certain distance to his family for years, so he had for example given up his rights!)
5.to 8. more pictures of the funeral procession

Note: The eldest grandchildren of GD Josephine-Charlotte's children, Prince Guillaume (Henri), Princess Marie-Christine (Marie Astrid), Princess Maria Anunciata (Margaretha) and Princess Marie-Gabrielle (Jean) have read in Luxembourgish, German, French and English, a very nice sign to show the cosmopolitan side of the family!

Prince Jean, the twin brother of Princess Margaretha was reading (a little bit a surprise as the TV speaker said, because he was in a certain distance to his family for years, so he had for example given up his rights!)

There were some frictions at the time of his marriage, but they didn't last very long. Jean was on good terms with his parents, sisters and brothers.

His daughter, Marie Gabrielle Nassau also read something.

Grand Duchess Josephine-Charlotte was cremated after the funeral service. The urn containing her mortal remains was then placed into the crypt at the Cathedral of Our Lady. I just heard this at the Benelux Royals Message Board.

With watching the funeral and seeing the different monarchs I kind of got a feeling that maybe this was a chance for them to realize that someday they will have to mourn or be mourned like in the case of the Grand Duchess. It was probably a time of reflection and realization about death. I kind of got that feeling when I was watching the different royals.

P.S. Thanks for the pics everyone.
