Thanks for the updates!
Princess Hisako is one of the busiest members of the Japanese Imperial family. It is always a pleasure to see her attending various events.

You're welcome! I wish there were more press on the extended family. The Hitachi, Mikasa, and Takamado events mostly appear in the weekly summaries and usually without photos.

Thanks the update!
It is great to see Princess Tsugiko undertaking a solo engagement. Her public appearances are somewhat rare: ceremonies and functions at the Imperial Palace.

I agree. It's wonderful to see her at solo event since most of the younger Imperial princesses don't get much engagements. They're either in university or working elsewhere although Princess Akiko of Mikasa is fairly visible.

On July 28th, Princess Hisako attended the ceremony and reception for the “Advanced Technology Award” at Meiji Memorial Hall, Tokyo. It appears the winner was “object fingerprint” technology in cancer research (I’m not sure. Translation was weird). Additional honors were awarded in medical and communication technology research. The award is sponsored by Fuji Sankei Business, Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry saving, Fuji Television Network, Sankei Shimbun, and Nippon Broadcasting System.

Various photos at: Sankei, SankeiBiz 1, 2, 3 (I wonder why Sankeibiz didn't combine all photos and info into one article...)

On July 29th, Princess Hisako departed from Haneda Airport for the Netherlands. As the Honorary President of the International Archery Federation, she will attend the 10th anniversary opening ceremony on July 30th at Amsterdam’s stadium. Besides commemorative celebrations and dinner meetings, she will also visit Folk Museum. This is Princess Hisako’s first visit to the Netherlands.
