Prince and Princess Hitachi are visiting, for the first time, Nicaragua due an invitation of Enrique Bolanos, President of Nicaragua, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the diplomat relations between the two countries.

Japan Prince Hitachi, younger brother of Emperor Akihito, on a four-day visit to El Salvador with his wife Hanako, visited a shelter housing storm victims Friday and donated mattresses, blankets and water purifiers worth a total 112,149 dollars, a foreign ministry source told AFP.
