Official birthday photos of Prince Akishino and his family.
from Kunaicho http://www.kunaicho.go.jp/akishino/akishino18-1112.html Prince Akishino celebrates his 41st b-day on Nov. 30, 2006. Prince Akishino turns 41, concerned about his busy parents Referring to his son, Prince Akishino said the now nearly 3-month-old is growing steadily. "He sleeps a lot, cries a lot and smiles a lot. He is drinking a lot of breast milk, too." Prince Akishino said he and Princess Kiko will treat their son, a potential future emperor, the same way as their two daughters Princess Mako, 15, and Princess Kako, 11, who are not eligible to ascend the throne under Japan's male-only imperial succession law........Prince Akishino, meanwhile, ruled out the possibility of having a fourth child at this time. In a sign of his healthy growth, the new prince has begun smiling as if in response when his father and sisters cradle and talk to him, according to the parents. He also gazes at toys and follows things in motion with his eyes, they said. "He sometimes dozes off with a pleased look on his face while listening to his father play the guitar," Princess Kiko said. http://asia.news.yahoo.com/061129/kyodo/d8lmuig01.html Last edited by mandyy; 11-29-2006 at 04:42 PM. |

Mako is very pretty, and she looks so grown-up in the pictures. Little Hisahito is adorable. I don't think Kako looks sad, maybe just a little shy.

Hmmm...The girls are supposed to be sad for they have a baby brother and not a baby sister...isn't it? I think I wouldn't be a boy nowadays!
Well, I think that these two girls ALWAYS had sad eyes...Long before we knew that Princesse Kiko was waiting a new baby, we discussed the same topic here, and we remarked that Princess Aiko had a little sad face too. But now, people will start to said: "She has a sad face for she knows she'll never be an Empress and for in her family, boys are more important than girls" I think the three Princesses has this sad faces for they are SHY. We discussed it many, many times. One of them was when Princess Mako was visiting Austria...Did you remember it?Oh, by the way, Prince Hisahito is a beatiful baby boy. Vanesa. Maybe...But I'm 34 now, and in May I will be 35! In five more years I will be a 40 years old lady!
I was a grown up person when princesses Mako and Kao were born, so... Vanesa. |
