yeah i agree both of you!

im been read about Princess Diana's life about her glamorous dresses of Diana's dresses because she have more famous dresses since her marriages to Prince Charles in 1981 but she collectors for years till her dress auctions in June 1997 but mostly designer chose Princess Diana in her life and the designer chose Diana because Diana was great legger the designer says in Diana's dresses books but she wanted kept her dresses she wores state trips and banquet with King and Queen, Prime Minister and in-law.

Diana collectors daytime dresses and evening dresses from designer in her life who making! but Diana's choice is Catherine Walker because she been close to her since her marriages to Prince Charles and Diana always chose more designer as Gianni Versaces friend and client because Diana likes him lots till he died in 1997 as purple dress she wores in chicago for gala dinner and dance with tv show.

I cant believe she did more lots of Famous dresses for Diana because she still as popular Princess mostly designer who making dresses for Princess Diana will would still missed Princess Diana lots.

but i think Countess of Wessex will still as stylish but she not yet as popular Countess no! but Diana still popular Princess! you know her father is wealth!

During a recent birthday visit, The Countess wore a pale blue, formal suit with camel coloured leather boots. It sounds like the combination shouldn't work but I think the Countess looks rather elegant. I love the heels on the boots. What do others think?

like the suit but

the boots are , the colour is :p and the length

I think that Sophie tries to evade being compared to diana as someone very preoccupied with fashion and dresses a bit too conservatively for her age.

they look similar perhaps because they are blond english women.

I like the way serena linley, helen taylor and sara chatto dress (but that is another thread)

I love the Countess's brown leather boots and I have to disagree about her style. I think HRH always dresses with a certain English elegance.

As I mentioned in the thread on the Italian State visit I think that Sophie's style is improving all the time. When she got engaged I thought she looked frumpy and I didn't like her wedding dress at all. It's interesting because many people say that a woman "finds" her look in her twenties but I think that Sophie's hair and clothes have become far more stylish throughout her thirties. She's also proved that you don't have to achieve this by constantly wearing different clothes and hats. She constantly mixes and matches the old with the new and creates lots of different looks in the process.

1) I guess you could call this hat 'causal' if you get such a thing as a causal hat. The photo was taken in 1998.

2 & 3) Here is the dress that Sophie wore for easter, she wore the dress at Ascot in 2001. I believe that I've seen the hat before as well but can't place it. Wait, these jackets are very similar but the buttons are different. Could it have been tailored?

The jacket looks similar, but I don't think they are the same. The collars don't look all the same, as well as the buttons and the type of material looks different, but I may be wrong.

No Claire,in the first photo,it's not Ascot in 2001.That one Sophie wore this in June 2003.But A.C.C is right. These outfits are different not the same.In the the first photo,if you look at her neck,it is small, but the clothes neck in the second photo is wider. And as A.C.C said, the materials are different. They are not the same outfit.

This thread is now cleaned up.

Since last May we have not had any new pictures of Sophie in gala dresses. Surely she's worn a few since May 2004 ...?
