Rania's clothes are always stunning. Moreover as a muslim woman, her clothes are of the type that we all could copy if we wished to. She never looks inappapropriately dressed.

I would agree with that, except for the dress she wore to CP Felipe's pre-wedding gala. But that was only once.
It cant be easy for her to make sure she doesnt dress inappropriately and yet she still ends up looking better than any royal woman.

Queen Rania in Dubai, April 2004 - wearing Givenchy

March 2004, Turkey - wearing Prada

September 2004 - Rania at the wedding of Farah Daghistani
This is my favourite formal dress worn by Rania last year. If someone knows the designer, please let us know.

After the jordanian wedding it was written in Norwegian press that Queen Ranias dress was from Dominique Sirop. Queen Sonja has this dress from Sirop, and you can see the similarities in the choice of fabric.

Someone asked earlier about the dress Rania wore to Felipe and Letizia's wedding last year, the white top with flowing long lavender skirt. It was by Givenchy Couture, IIRC. I think these pictures prove that she is absolutely stunning no matter what she wears, and I'm sure designers love the way she looks in their designs.

I agree with you. That skirt is impressive.

wow those two dresses do look quite similar dont they?
thanx for sharing Larzen.
Rania's dress seems to have a more traditional/eastern look which I thought was very appropriate for the wedding reception.

Queen Sonjas dress is from 2002 and as far as I know especially made for her, it has been written atleast two places that it was from Sirop, I cant say anything about Ranias dress, just thought they were similar

"We need to accept that Rania wears beautiful gowns..that she has a sense of style, that she is pretty, blah,,,blah...BUT....She and the JRF members are spending too much money they do not really deserve..They are OVERDOING IT..."

And i take it you have access to the families personal financial accounts?

"In any case, it doesn't negate the fact that the woman is extravagant to the extreme. If she wasn't these kinds of stories wouldn't be circulating. No smoke without fire & all that."
Or plain jealousy? Let's face it, the woman had cards stacked against her from the very beginning. she's Palestinian. In many Arabs eyes that makes her the lowest of the low.

"Matrix: well said...I myself so surprised at the LABOR efforts some posters are making to prove that rania recycles some items to take care of the criticisms she is getting.....Oh man! they must be worshipping her..."
Considering the fact that these "critics" are the same people who constantly moan about her never re-wearing her clothing,I think threads like these are highly important

If the dress is by Dominique Sirop and part of an older collection, maybe Rania had a look at the catalogue and liked the fabric/style. She has done it before when she wore a blue Armani dress in 2002, it had originally been part of a collection from the early 1990s.

Well here's the skirt everyone's talking about.
I recall someone mentioning that one of the Spanish designers picked Rania as the best dressed at CP Felipe's wedding. Some people have said that Rania broke protocol by wearing a long skirt. But she apparently wore it especially to add a Spanish flair to her outfit, which was a very thoughtful touch on her part I think.

One of the most popular Prada dresses of last year. I've literally seen a dozen women, royals and celebs, wearing it.
Rania wore it to Prince Ali's wedding
