No,this is not a jordanian traditional design.

It's designed by Marc jacobs for his collection of aut/winter 2003,yes it's with oriental inspiration?the moroccan designer "Fanou" made exactly the same dress with ruby velvet and the same design inspired by moroccan traditional caftans for her collection of 99/2000 showen in "carrousel of Louvres" in Paris!

I decided to ask this question here since I didn't know where else to ask it. I was wondering if anyone knows which Jordanian designers, if any, their majesties Rania and Noor use? Please let me know if anyone has any info. Also please let me know if there are any Jordanian designers or not, if there are do they design traditional clothing or do they have a more western feel to their clothes? And how expenisve are they in comparison to designers like Dior, Armani, Versace, Gucci, etc?

note to Balqis:
I love the quote you have on all your messages, the quote by her majesty Queen Rania:
In a world of "many," the real lesson in life is, "we are one."

it is a great quote

What do you mean by she has western face not like eastern?

If you mean by that being fair skinned and to have light hairs,so it's not rania's case, her natural hair is dark brown/black and she's not very fair!

As for her features ,they are most likely eastern than western like eyes and big nose which she modified by plastic suregy! You can see her metamorphose through the years:) here at royal before and after thread #post8!:
Royals before and after!

As for being pretty, there are many women with western features who are not pretty at all and there are many women with eastern features who are pretty to die(actual miss europe is from german but she's originally from iran),and vis vesa :) !

But actually,I believe that being pretty or beautiful is a not question of eastern or western features, there are many types of beauties:) !

Actually i undestood by your sentence that she looks like westen.

But if it's only about look,so it's different, one's look could be worked by a relooking to make from it what you want, like how did rania ,to have this big metamorphose from what she's naturally to how she looks now!

As for the make up thing,i don't agree, she put tones of make-up and sometimes it looks too much!

Wow there sure are a lot of threads on Queen Rania and her fashions. Two fashion threads, a wardrobe fit for a queen thread, Rania recycles her clothes ... one would think that there wasn't anything else interesting about Rania besides her clothes to talk about.

Now all we need are threads on Rania's shoes, purses, her hair ... or did I miss those threads?
