I second your short annotation, iceflower - particularly liking how Queen Noor's white jacket is combined of a structured fabric with silky edgings. And yes, her simple pearl jewelry looks appealing indeed (coincidentally, I own a very similar pair of earrings, though definitely a smaller one

You are quite right. These have been photoshopped to death. Queen Noor is a woman with some age, I think they should have photographed her as such. She is a beautiful woman and there was no need in such drastic measures. Shame on the magazine & photographers.
I do not understand these photos; were they taken for some commercial purpose (promotion)? The Queen does not look like herself.
