I liked the dress don't get the shoes , I get that it wasn't a formal affair.
I never liked this dress, I think it's too much for a Queen, Its inappropriate for a Queen, i cant imagine how people would critism Letizia, if she would wear it..
I would have to agree. I really like her updo and gorgeous earrings and the white trim of the off-the-shoulder top really kicks in her wonderful summer tan.
Queen or not, Maxima looks terrific and a pantsuit is a great evening look. Needless to say, had the engagement required dancing or an evening of meeting and greeting, then perhaps she would have worn a gown. However this is quitessential Maxima who seems to like it for evenings such as concerts and film premiers, etc.
