Immediately think of Sonja's blue gown in their gov't birthday dinner. Not the design but the feeling – flowing and poetic. Just stunning.

I don't mind the dress - she looks great in that colour. I can overlook the shoes. But again, the hair! I know I mention this a lot with Maxima and especially Letizia but hair matters! You can be wearing the most beautiful, well designed clothes in the world but if your hair looks like you just rolled out of bed it spoils the whole look. I'm not asking for beauty pageant hair but basic grooming is never a bad thing.

It definitely looks like that. If she was not a Queen, I would have thought "Oh, poor woman, she was in a hurry, so she forget her high heels...".
