And I like the hair. I would not like it everyday. But I like it for and every now and then. I actually like it that she often does something different with her hair.

My assumption is that it is a bespoke piece by Felipe Varela.

The dress is busy but I like the overall effect. And I like that her hair has been styled in a new way, (and looks sleek and properly styled for the occasion).

The down side for me was her make up which is very harsh looking, especially in close ups I’ve seen. A softer look would have provided a nice contrast to the hair and dress.

The dress is very precious from close up but looks strange from afar. I don't think the shoes work with the dress at all and the earrings draw too much attention.
I don't think its her worst look at the awards but it's not her best look, either.

2015 was gorgeous. I do like the 2018 dress and she looks fantastic in it. But the shoes are a miss as are the hair and heavy makeup. Too harsh!

I have watched the video of asturias award a few times and i checked every deatil about the dress and i still dont know what i should think about the dress and the whole look. the details looking gorgeos but i dont like this black leather thing, i also think her hairstyle and make up "to much" i dont care about the shoes tbh

Not crazy about it,Letizia has some really nice black dresses but this one needed something extra like a bangle or bracelet.

Not a huge fan of Letizia's dress either. She looks nice and I'm not normally keen on all dark colours but I'd actually prefer this dress if it were all black, minus the white stripe which I find rather odd.

I don't like this dress at all. The top looks like a sports top (far too low cut for my taste) and the white stripe on the skirt looks odd. The shoes are ugly.
Another 'Queen Sexy' or 'Queen It Girl' look that does nothing for the serious image she used to wish for.

Besides, Letizia owns so many LBDs and the majority of them look so much better than this one.

Agreed. The top is far too low cut and doesn't match with the skirt part at all. The dress would have made some sense if there would have been a white stripe also at the top part. It wouldn't have looked better but it would have suited the style of the dress. Letizia has so many beautiful LBDs she could have chosen, and she would have looked much better.

I like the bottom half of the dress and the sleeves. The top half looks like it belongs on a different dress entirely and I would say doesn’t belong on someone in Letizia’s position at a formal public occasion in any event.

Edited to add that I do really like her hair like this.

This look is a bit of a "material mess" for me. Letizia does seem to be fond of her leather jackets, however they don't go with this particular style of trouser IMO. It looks as if she just put on whatever she first found in her wardrobe.
