She´s really like a princess from an oriental tale. She´s just too beautiful for words

I love when she wears those tradictional dresses, they are beautiful.

tatiana santo domingo praises the style of the queen of bhutan:

And then? “We are headed to South Africa to source materials, then we are off to Laos and Bhutan,” says Santo Domingo. “We were really inspired and impressed with the new Queen of Bhutan’s wardrobe during her wedding celebrations, so let’s see if we can bring back some of those incredible fabrics and looks.”

They appear to me IMO a romantic couple ... he ia a total dish and she divine she looks gorgeous above though I really like her lighter shades ... she looks amazing in anything... beautiful

You have to have a slim figure to carry off horizontal stripes which the Queen has and does successfully. She is exquisitely beautiful in all her colorful outfits and the King is an absolute dreamboat! They seem to be a very loving pair.

Don't know what it is about her, but I don't think I saw her in anything looking bad yet. She always looks great, be it traditional or western wear. She is so beautiful, fragile and delicate. She reminds me of a gorgeous, frail butterfly.

Thank you,kathia_sophia for providing such great & adorable pictures of the Bhutanese couple, they are so lovely!
I enjoy their kind personality and I am delighted by the vibrant colours & pretty details and design of the traditional clothes! :rose:

I'm a huge fan of this couple. Sadly, any photos from ImageShack aren't showing up for me. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

Can you open the Tinypics links Lisele? If you can, then you didn't miss anything on those ImageShack. I've been updating her style since the begining, althought some members also posted some links, I think you pretty much saw everything.

Beautiful lady! I like it that she keeps things simple and prefers traditional clothing. All these vibrant colours are so pretty!

Ah, how exquisite she is. I like how she used her shawl to secure her hair as she planted that bush; a very practical fashion accessory.

Happy belated birthday, Your Majesty, I hope you enjoyed that luscious-looking birthday cake!

Thank you for these. That first one though, not just Her Majesty looks incredible, but look at the Ladies around her. All those Saris are beyond stunning.

I don't suppose anyone has any idea where to purchase/obtain some of those incredible Bhutanese fabrics? sigh!

I do not know if there is a way to purchase Bhutan fashion outside the country, but there may be some shops that are specialising in tribal fashion,we have a few Hippie-shops in Austria where you can buy colourful Indian fashion and fabrics. We have a lot of immigrants who always bring part of their culture, fashion and art who sell it in special places, maybe you have similar shops in your country?
Or you may ask someone who travels a lot, they may be able to get something nice for you. Bhutan fashion is a little bit more difficult than other national dresses because it is less touristy than other countries in the region.

There must be a way of obtaining Bhutanese fabrics or the national costume/clothes of Bhutan. For women, the following appear to be the main elements of what a woman in Bhutan would wear: -

Kira - a long skirt
Wonju - a blouse
Toego - the jacket

So I guess if you do a Google search for the above items and refine the search with "shopping" you could find something!

Thanks for posting these pictures! The last one is enchanting!

This couple is just so exquisite; I love how the King engulfs her with his arm. And she's simply so beautiful in those jewel colors; the King's footwear in the second photos is really spiffy, too!
