Yes that's quiet true. I think the dresses just look brilliant because of their cut. It looks so great! The colours alone without the cut (especially the first one) would look a bit oldfashioned...
anyway I like them most.

the coat for the tram museum looks like a Prada autumn 2005/2006 coat, cant find the same, but the pockets the cut and the pattern around the neck makes me sure its from that collection.

I have seen many dress like this. Maybe this is a new fashion... but Mary has great figure and that dress are underlining her beauty.

I agree, Mary seems to have a big thing about these sorts of colours but they do nothing for her overly pale skin tones. She just ends up looked washed out.

The color of the dress does nothing for her. She is so pale; combine that with the pale blush color of that dress, it washes her out.
