Lovely dress. :flowers:

Other than the color I don't find anything overly fancy about it. Well length would be considered evening in western countries, but we know not the case here.
 
it's very pretty dress the coloro really looks nice on Hya i only think the dress sits moe night even not a for daytime.
 
:previous: I think a really flattering thoub is far more versatile and looks both gorgeous and appropriate whereas western-style long gowns cross into that "evening gown" look so easily when worn during the day. The grey lace was a perfect case in point, just add suitable jewellery and its an evening gown.

Interestingly, I found that Haya seems to prefer a more "shaped" silhouette, one that accentuates and lengthens her waist in both her version of a thoub, evening dress and even formal day wear. Ascot highlights this perfectly. Just check out a few photos and there it is; a very personal 'Haya' style.

Its a typical UAE abaya and worn in the Gulf. It doesn't suit Haya and it's not her style. She should stick to her thoubs IMO. The black and white scarf looks like she mourning someone.
 
But boring and not her style but completely appropriate.

Looking at the other women, who are in abayas and full hijab, and one fully covered, it was a very conservative event. Even if a thoub she would have stood out and that's not always good even for royals.

To say she looks like she is in mourning shows a lack of understanding for the culture.
 
Countessmeout black Abaya and Black hijab is totaly understood and typical guld codedresse but in some countries in ME black Abaya and white hijab (covr head) is usually wore at funeral and during mourning.

Yes thats true.

For example in the UAE black and black is custom like you can see in the pictures of the other ladies. In Jordan, black and a white scarf is mourning, thats custom. So, sorry to say, I don't have lack of understanding of culture.

Moreover, it was not a conservative event, it was a school visit in one of the Emirates.
 
They are in Dubai not Jordan. And white certainly doesn't hold the same meaning. Looking at photos of the school, she certainly isn't the only woman with white hijabs.

And yes, even if it is at a school, the event obviously had a more conservative dress code. Haya has a good understanding of the dress required if the day. A thoub though traditional would have looked out of place among women who are covered as the others.
 
I dont like the prints the truth I don't like the whole dress,though she looks fresh and happy it's nice to see

i don't mind the dress not her best but shr looks lovelu anyway,her hair is styled in messy way though.
 
I like the caftan but not on Princess Haya, it wears her rather than her wears it IMO. Its a caftan Queen Noor could pull off, appropriate age and height.
 
I like this shade of yellow on her. Th outfit itself is different but something is not flattering, I don't know if its the sleeves style with the high waisted skirt or the high waisted skirt on its own. The hat, lovely!
 
That's quit nice shade of the yellow,overall she looks great but i think also theose sleeves ruin her outfit.
 
I like the hat and the color is nice but the outfit it'self I am not sure about it
 
The dress is nice and i think the whole look is lovely although i don't like the idea id the matched hat,she looks lovely anyway.
