A beautiful dress. She is the epitome of refined elegance, and as someone has said before this is a very Grace -like dress. Perfect for this occasion. Now if she'd just refrain from encouraging her hairdresser to use those scissors and razor....

Another fabulous look. I would like to see a shot where the train is in full

Like you all, I find this hairdo too short , last year, she cut her hair very short and lately her hair was at a good lenght and again she cuts her hair too short.

She was stunning with this dress and with these ears and ring.

Beautiful gown and jewels on the Princess but I don't like her hair that short and agree with the above comments that it looks a bit too severe.

Are those clover or shamrock prints on the dress and wonder if they are a nod to the Irish roots of Princess Grace?

I like the skirt part of the dress, but that top makes her quite busty and it looks strange imo. Agree on her hair.

A very beautiful dress. The skirt part is lovely and flowy, but i like the top too. White is the color of her.
I like short hair so i like her short hair too.

I agree with everyone about HSH's hair, but she has such a gorgeous face that she can make even a bad haircut "work". That gown is simple perfection.

I think Albert's consort has no peer for elegance in Royal Europe now. She is truly in a league all her own.

The white gown is regal and beautiful. Love the design.

Love, Love the gown and jewels! But like the other posters I just find her hair too short and severe to be attractive.

Only someone with Charlene's carriage and bone structure can carry such a hairstyle and at the same time look elegant and sophisticated.

Just because she has the features and bone structure to pull of this kind of hair cut/style, it really does not suit her. If she just maybe put some kind of effort into styling it, it may work. fluff it up, put ssome kind of curl on the top, gel it back, anything...it would be a vast improvement than laying lying flat and stuck to her head. ugh!

Duke of Marmelade , some footballers are wearing also ponytails as Kate and other princesses!
Charlene was very stunning at the council board and at the gala
She was very smart and sophicated

Some like her short hair other don't like, and hair are growing but during these last days she was very elegant and stunning

I love that Charlene has her own style. That she Doesnt go for the traditional tiara friendly royal hair we see among other Royal women. Two of my favorite royal ladies hair wise are Charlene and Letizia when she has her bob. But I feel they suffer the opposite issue. Letizia hair looks worse when she lets her bob grow out too much, and its in awkward between stage. Charlene is the opposite, she is fabulous with a pixie but she seems to go too severe. Even an inch longer would do wonders :flowers:

As for this outfit, the top reminds me of a bathing suit cover or 80s workout

But the skirt looks amazing, love the colors. A nice jacket over the shirt would have pulled it together and hid the awkward cut of the top.

i like her skirt indeed. less sure about the top, but the overall effect is charlene's usual sophisticated self.

I struggle to find anything sophisticated about this look. I loathe the top. This is a definite miss for me.

I agree, terrible:ohmy:

I love Charlene. She is a stunning woman. This outfit is ugly. And, yet, she looks well.

Love both her nyc looks. She can pull off anything, the hair, checked skirt, you name it. Very sophisticated looks.

Love or loathe, it's her unconventional fashion choices that makes her the most interesting Royal to follow, fashion-wise. Personally, I think she's a style goddess and very stunning woman. ?

Yes, I enjoy following her fashion more than any other royal lady and would never have thought it from the early days before she married Albert when there was little evidence that she was going to take risks and mix things up in the way she has done.
Would like to see a full length view of this latest dress.

I think Charlene tried the "princess" look and decided it just wasn't her. Her clothes have almost always been pared down and quite elegant but her hair was sucking the life out of her. She looks to have fine hair which is very hard to put up with any real finesse.

I truly believe that was one of the few updo's that made Charlene look wonderful but think the aigrette had a lot to do with it.

In this last one, the dress was amazing but the hair was a dead loss with her hair dressed so close it was almost scraped back!

It is interesting to note that when the hair got the chop out came the earrings and they were, and continue to be, as stunning as indeed does her more streamlined yet dramatic fashion. She also discovered dramatic lipstick!

Since the birth of the twins, I think she is more into "wash and wear" and hair she can do herself in as short a time as possible.

Thank you marg for that wonderful round up of Charlene's hair. Made my day and much better than any magazine

Yes thank you for putting this together. I agree the long hair didn't really work for her, but I really liked the fringe in the first pics. I remember one of her early appearances with the twins when she wore her hair in this way and I thought she looked fabulous.

One thing I think we can be sure of with Charlene. If you don't like her hair right now, don't despair as she will surely change it! I really enjoy this about her personal style. :flowers:

In my humble opinion, whichever hairstyle Charlene has; she always look like a million dollars!!!!!!!!!
