On October 18 Princess Anne as Royal Commodore-in-Chief Portsmouth attended a Passing Out Parade at HMS SULTAN in Gosport, Hampshire.

One day earlier she had visited Block Mills, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth and the Royal Marines School of Music at HM Naval Base.

Princess Anne is in Canada since Tuesday, October 22. Yesterday, October 23, she visited the Canadian Forces Medical Services Training Centre, Canadian Forces Base Borden, she attended a reception at Queen's Park and a 33 Signals Foundation Dinner at the National Club in Toronto.

Yesterday, October 24, Princess Anne visited the Vimy War Memorial, unveilled a statue of Mercury and attended a book launch reception at the Canadian Forces Base Kingston and she attended a 110th anniversary dinner at the Marriott Hotel in Kingston.

Yesterday, October 28, Princess Anne visited the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Wood in Normanton le Heath, Leicestershire and as Colonel-in-Chief of The Royal Army Veterinary Corps she opened the new Kennels at the Defense Animal Centre, Melton Mowbray.

I must he in a heady mood because as I looked at this from the investiture at Shropshire University, I noticed her pin up. BBC News - Princess Royal officially installed as Shropshire university chancellor

The bun looks smaller than I have noticed in the past. I wonder how often she cuts her hair and who cuts it? Knowing Anne, she does it herself with loppers on schedule with the sheep shearing (joking).

I do love Anne, she is a hardworking hoot!

At first look, I thought the hat was her hair! I can't imagine how long it must take someone to do her hair what with it's length and bun and all of the other twists.. Plus back-combing. She certainly couldn't do it by herself!

Yesterday, January 14, Princess Anne was in West Yorkshire to visit Manor Coating Systems and Saltaire Micro Brewery in Shipley, to attend (as Patron) the MSc Occupational Therapy and MSc Physiotherapy End of Course Conference at the Leeds Metropolitan University and to attend the 30th anniversary of Sports Coach UK in Leeds.
