Those pants barely qualify as jeans. It's not like she's wearing acid-wash blue jeans.
I still remember Fashion Maven's shock at it being skinny jeans at first.

I was shocked that it was skinny jeans as well only because Meghan’s legs are the skinniest I’ve ever seen.
She has a wide waist and then skinny legs. Flares are a much better choice for trousers.
I really hope there isn't a fuss and backlash if Meghan decides to continue to favour straight haiir. I just detect a few observations here tending towards a view that she should embrace her natural hair. With regard to the damage she may be inflicting, perms and colours can cause significant damage if not tended and treated correctly. I have regularly coloured my hair for many years and it is still in good shape. Meghan likes her hair straight and knows how to keep it looking good.
Doesn’t she wear extensions though?
I don't know if she does but she would still have to straighten her own hair to match the extensions.
Honestly I've seen that said in the media but I don't think she wears extensions.
From what I've seen of her hair, no. You can usually tell if someone is wearing extensions if you are familiar with them.
But no issue is ever made about white females wearing extensions and wigs.
I have a daughter who has hair like Meghan's, and I've always encouraged her to embrace her beautiful locks. Like it or not, Meghan is a role model and many people would love to see her embrace her natural hair.
If she ever wore her hair completely natural in public, the entire Internet would collectively lose their damned minds.
Personally, it makes me a little sad to see someone straighten their gorgeous curls. It does take upkeep, especially in damp climates like England. But, her straightened hair looks well-tended.
... Meghan’s legs are the skinniest I’ve ever seen.

... Meghan’s legs especially from the knee down look like broom handles...
It’s not that Meghan has hips. If you look at her without Spanx on like at Invictus or in Wales she has no bum.
Obviously not everyone has a perfect figure but imo skinny jeans do her no favours with such skinny legs.
This is definitely not true, there are thousands of comments on this forum, blogs and social media about white royals and celebrities wearing extensions and particularly Kate has had some vicious things said about her hair. Just today I was reading a fashion blog with many comments about Nicole Kidman wearing a wig.
Not everything is about race.
Don’t like the messy bun or the hair she has to brush aside
I don’t like the dark colors or jeans when she’s working
She taken on the “job” and like most jobs there is a dress code.
I think William Hanson's comments were quite picky. Just because HM wears bright colours doesn't mean that Meghan should have to, we all have our own taste in fashion. Meghan looked nice today and I didn't have a problem with her outfit, even the jeans since she compromised with a smart coat. As long as they are worn with a smarter top or jacket, I don't have a problem with royals wearing jeans at official events. Jeans are comfy and easy to move around in, as well as practical in cold weather, so I can understand why Meghan would have wanted to wear them.
Did you also notice he objected to the "black" coat that she wore in Nottingham. All sources at the time said it was navy blue, which is how it looked in any pictures I saw.
Maybe he can’t see color very well? I mean he is wearing an awful lot of bright colors there himself. Maybe that’s the issue? He could use some monochromatic if you ask me.
How do you know her curls are beautiful when loose
Anyone with natural curls can tell you that straightening your hair actually can be a lot less work. Your natural curls can be frizzy/messy. Trying to calm them enough to make them look professional for a day event is no easy task.
As for the royal expert....he really does need to come into the 21st century. You cant expect Meghan to dress like the queen or women over a decade older then her like Sophie. Just because Kate chooses to, doesn't mean that it is a rule that Meghan is breaking.
The days a woman has to be in a skirt or dress to look professional, ended a long time ago.
