Muhler - you always make me laugh! Actually, that photo with the group is such a sea of blue suits! And men. Which, on reflection is a boost to the day!

Daniel would feel right at home in that crowd.

I like the scarf and beanie hat on William. Extra points because they are not blue
Although I find his pants a bit on the tight side
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUx1a5WXcAARoDF?format=jpg

Speaking of tight pants, I find Daniel's very tight. There is form fitting and then there's tightness
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUyeh4-WAAAU34M.jpg

We all knew the Swedish royals would bring nothing but blue ties, so yay for William wearing something that pops a little. I like it
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DUykL-XX4AEgGT3.jpg

the men with the longer coats, quite nice. again points to William for wearing a small pop of color in his scarf

Men past a certain age shouldn't wear too tight pants. When we reach middle age, too tight pants change from being heroic-looking to being creepy. - The same thing applies to long hair.
Permit me to be a little vulgar but truthful. Past a certain age there is a genuine risk of "drip-marks" in front of the pants if they are too tight...

But William is pulling it of well.
Perhaps a little more exciting scarves would be nice. You know you want to, William.

His gloves are a fail though. It's not gloves actually, it's more like mittens! -6 C is nothing, he should try some serious cold.
Daniel wear appropriate and adequate gloves, so he gets a little from me.

Both gentlemen's coats are nice and practical.

It looked like Victoria was asking William if he needed a hat for his chrome dome.

Daniel and Wills beat out their other halves for fashion tonight IMO. Wills actually had a bit of a shot cuff! And you could tell William was wearing silk (or some other really fine) hose with his velvet slippers tonight. Daniel always looks good in black tie. Thanks heavens.

I like Daniel's fitness and ability to wear a modern suit. And that Wills is now wearing more fitted suit pants - I am elated.

His brown brushed pants however, leave too little to my imagination - sad to say. Needs better tailoring.

I like william’s red hat. He wore it well- and it’s not blue. Looks like there’s a red scarf there too. Lol

His other scarf is nice as well. Got some color to it.

William should look at Daniel here, who pulls it off on five points.
Daniel's tux is buttoned.
His handkerchief is neat, not just stuffed down the pocket.
His shirtsleeves are showing about one inch as is perfect.
His shoes are shining.
His pants has the appropriate length, not too short - like William's... and not too long.
The only minor flaw is Daniel's butterfly, but since butterflys must be tied by hand, minor imperfections are allowed.

So from me.
While William gets a

- But soon we shall feast our eyes at Haakon.
William could wear slippers and a lilac hessian tux and still come out on top.

Second day in Sweden for Willian, and I just knew yesterday's outfit was too much color for him All blue today a college professor look
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DU3EPN9W4AAihs6?format=jpg
Even the scarf is all blue
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2018/...7396451568.jpg
One step forward and then two steps back with William.

and the shoes Maybe he thought Haakon was in Sweden
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2018/...7396554062.jpg

Daniel upped his fashion a little with going with brown. Nice coat but
https://media.gettyimages.com/photos...re-id912512894

and of course with a blue tie. It looks like this lady wanted to suggest a new color for ties

I could definitely copy Daniel's outfit today. Just give me! But of course he could have switched for a burgundy tie.

And very nice to see something else than just the traditional blue/grey/black suites.

Professor? I think he looks like an English country-vicar.
A freudian slip perhaps? Perhaps William has always wanted deep inside to be a vicar. Bashing the congregation every Sunday from his pulpit. Strolling among the English country gardens. Sipping afternoon tea with ladies of the local knitting clubs. Offering comfort and kind words. Presenting trophies at the country fair and umpiring the inter-village cricket matches. - Yes! I can actually see him in front of me! William the vicar, he's perfect for that role!
Country vicars are expected to be a little eccentric, it says so in their contracts, so the shabby shoes would be acceptable as well.

And what else do we have here? Daniel is wearing a pretty neat coat.
The shoes, albeit cool in their own right, ruins the look. One should not wear tight-fitting pant-legs if one wear booties. The ruffled look spoils the presentation.
You can almost see the demon sitting on Daniel's left shoulder whispering: "Dress wild, Daniel! Colors, Daniel! You know you want to, Daniel... - Be un-Swedish! Just once".

The weather is getting colder here in Scandinavia over the next days - a lot colder!

Poor William, he's almost wearing heavy skiing-gloves as it is. What will be next?
These mittens perhaps? https://oldiesskriftrulle.files.word...2/dscn4640.jpg

And when he enters Norway, he must wear knitted caps like this: https://www.sweatershop.dk/files/col...6/2160/444.jpg
That's a requirement for entering Norway in the winter. They hand them out at the border checkpoints.
I can't wait to see William wearing such a knitted cap.
Combined with a knitted sweather like this: http://www.hjertegarn.com/files/mana...fter/97057.jpg
I had one once, almost died from a heat stroke.
And for the final touch, kamikker: http://www.antikvitet.net/images/apZoom/95021z.jpg
- That should keep him reasonably warm and ensure Daily Mail will write about what William is wearing for a change...

Ah, Muhler, I have a cap like that that I keep in my emergency kit in the car for when I slide off the road in winter. From too much schnapps. Just where it belongs, waiting to save my life when it is -15F.

And I have a similar (even worse) sock monkey hat that someone gave me when I was completely hairless with chemotherapy. I still love and wear it to shovel snow, however tragic it looks, because it was such a fun gift at such a lousy time.

https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....1FPKuvaPzL.jpg

Perhaps we should all imagine balding William in a similar sock monkey hat.

A monkey hat? - Hmm, nah vicars wear brimmed hats. And in the summer a straw hat.

Have you tried a balaclava? https://www.fjallraven.dk/media/cata...7291-030_1.jpg
William would look... unique though in a balaclava like this: https://img.etsystatic.com/il/a79838...69488_gdf6.jpg
