At the risk of sounding sexist and objectifying, Daniel has a rocking body that looks great in this well-fitted tux.

:previous: Oh, I would have to agree, he does look absolutely spiffing . . . . but I wonder if he measured the kerchief showing in his breast pocket. Still, he is the epitome of a Swedish gentleman in that blue tuxedo at a black tie event.

OK! Is it just me or is Prince Harry looking gorgeous!!! I never paid much attention to him before but now with the beard and change in fashion, he is looking more mature and manly!

Oh dear, it looks like Joachim is wearing an ensemble of two parts. The top is formal, pale shirt, pale tie and a teal/green jacket. The trousers are khaki/beige and his green shoes clash with the jacket.

I agree with this. And he also rocks top hats (seen at Ascot.)

Yes!
That's formal attire, the Swedish way!
You can place a spirits level on top of Daniel's handekerchief and it would be dead-center.
So he gets :cool::cool: from me.

Casual for the weather and event, yet stylish. Good!
I sincerely hope is not going schlager-singer on us... :ermm:
As you know PH was very fond of very colorful jackets when he was out and about. I can well imagine PH's Kermit-green jacket hanging in Joachim's closet. And sometimes Joachim will take it out, stand before the mirror holding the jacket before him - and dream... - The thought is terrifying!

William on his tour to Israel, Jordan and OPT, has been his usual self fashion wise  ; even appearing to have done a "Haakon" fashion wise yesterday ?

Shoes, pants and jacket needs to burn! :voodoo:

William can do it, - when someone tie him down and dress him, as is evident from the second set of photos you posted Polyesco. ?

Shoes, pants and jacket needs to burn! :voodoo:

Why? Whats wrong with the shoes? Perfectly elegant suede shoes that a lot of English gents wear.

:previous: I totally agree and, if I am not mistaken, he is wearing brown shoes with his grey suit. :bang:

Those brown shoes look like they are falling apart on the one side at the top, is there a leak for air in these shoes because they are borrowed from elsewhere....he really needs Catherine to help pack for him, holy shoes oh my goodness....

I do like the grey suit, but didn't William take black shoes with him on this visit? I've never had any sense that the Wales boys had an eye for fashion or any flair and practically every outing confirms it.

Is the Duke of Cambridge's suit from the last day of the Jerusalem tour new? I don't recall it as a suit? And do we think it is a fine wool gaberdine? Or something else?

I liked it. I like him in anything that is not that blue suit he has worn so many times...

How tall is Felipe? I always thought Obama is a tall man, seeing him next to Felipe I am not sure anymore. Felipes trousers look... well ehm.. unfortunate:eek:

Felipe is 6 foot 7. I believe Obama is either 6 foot 2 or 6 foot 3.

I think we should have a look at male sports attire.

Exemplified by Daniel, who as we all know has a very keen interest in fitness.
Being so much an archetypical Swede, he is as we all know also the ultimate role model for all Swedish men in regards to his attire when pursuing sport of any kind.
As all Swedes are required to be physically active 15.1 hours a month, they all own at least one sports suit. Daniel, being a role model, owns more.

Here Daniel is playing for the Swedish team in the game called racket-ball. Whereby you bounce your ball up and down the field on your racket, while remaining composed. Notice how the other Swedish player has positioned himself behind the foreign (very sloppy attired!) player ready to receive Daniels ball, should he lop it over the head of the foreign player.
But I digress.
Daniel is here wearing the Swedish national team suit. A darkish suit, but instead of wearing white under the suit Daniel is wearing a bold pinkish color.
He is like his teammates wearing black shoes, of course with black stockings. Things needs to match, and Daniel does that perfectly!
Notice also that he, despite the physical exertions, manages to keep his hair well-combed. That's style!
Observe and admire how Daniel, in contrast to his team-mate, naturally doesn't allow the cloth around his neck to fly around, it is kept neatly in place.

After that feast for the eyes, lets have a look at Daniel playing table tennis.

Here he has changed into a blue sports suits. Blue of course being a preferred color for Swedish contestants. :swedenflag:
Of course the cloth around his neck, which is the hallmark of Swedish athletes, is kept neatly in check.
But this time he opted for wearing light blue under his suit, tom emphasize the otherwise dark blue hue of his suit. That's neat!
And as the accomplished athlete he is, he is here totally psyching his opponent by keeping his suit closed. No breaking sweat here! :D
But should he break into a sweat, he is of course prepared. Notice his left pocket.
Also, notice his well-combed hair. No Swede would ever show up on a sports field with his hair looking like a mess. That's un-Swedish. Unthinkable!

What else can be said? Is it a wonder that Daniel, dress wise, is considered the sensei in Sweden?
Personally I'm in awe. :notworthy:

Well, well, Daniel can actually be casual. ?

But Naruhito...
Suit at the train is a fail.
Sleeves too long. :ermm:
Where is the handkerchief? :ermm:

But he nailed the "penquin-suit". ?

Summer time calls for some official summer photo shoots. Let's take a look at the men's "fashion style" so far...

There is of course a perfectly rational explanation for Daniel wearing Haakon's shoes and vice versa.

There is as you all know a century old banter, some would call it feud, going on between Norway and Sweden.
Nowadays it's more friendly involving many and old traditions between the royal houses.
Every year on 10. July the crown princes of Sweden and Norway swap shoes for one week, in memory of Olaf the Basher, who in 1229 defeated a Swedish army. :viking: Then stripped the Swedish survivors of their shoes and send them home with worn out shoes. (You have to be Norwegian to understand that joke. Something about fjords... :ermm:)
So today, with the friendly relations between the two royal houses, that has evolved into a shoe-swapping tradition.
Haakon send Daniel his beloved and well-worn brown shoes. And Daniel send Haakon his most worn-out shoes in return...

It is of course only natural that the bodyguards from Säpo dress like Daniel.
He is after all sensei in regards to male attire in Sweden.
All Swedish men wish, nay desire, to look like Daniel. And all Swedish men wish to look the same and blend in. They feel comfortable and more secure that way.
It's an instinct unique to North Koreans and Swedish men and reminiscent of zebras.
Just as you have problems singling out individual zebras in a flock, in the same way you have problems singling out individual Swedes.
But don't feel sorry for them. Swedish men who look the same are happy. ? If it wasn't un-Swedish they would be tempted to lock arms and dance.
They don't of course, except when they go to Copenhagen...
