:previous: I have to admit, my passion for hats is not relegated just to the ladies. There is nothing quite like a fedora worn at just the right jaunty angle. CG's looks well broken in.

Yes, he does look jaunty. My eyes are also drawn to the hatless Prince Carl Philip behind him though. Is the coat CG is wearing too small for him? It seems very snug, and it's also buttoned at a very unflattering angle.

I don't think it is too small, that't normally not the case with King Carl Gustaf's suit. Though, he was wearing a double-breasted suit that day, so I guess the picture gives the buttoning to look a bit weird.

I meant Carl Philip's coat. Just absent minded when I posted! Sorry!

Yes, the suit, tie and crisp white shirt all look great, but once again the shoes let it all down - actually the socks do too!

the British royal men today
Edward in a suit from the late 80s, early 90s. Suit, tie, shirt and handkerchief all seem to have been chosen independent from one another

Charles, I quite like the suit and tie combo he has, even if they dont "flow" together

Harry, as always in his eternal blue combo

The is the third time the King leaves me completely speechless. I'm stunned!
He is simply off any scale devised by human beings. :D

These shoes and on State visit too??? Oh Haakon you are my sympathy but why???

He'll wear these shoes when he gets buried. I even suspect he sleeps with them on.

Still ugly, but at least they do not look dirty and worn out ;)

Frederik last week, with a nice tie that highlights the color in Mary's skirt

Mohammed VI have a unic style:D
noone of those ill dressed royal men can bet him:D
but I somehow like the fact that in his daily life he simply just don't care and wore what he like.

He and PH are officially in a category of their own.

Just look at PH hunting attire: https://app.box.com/s/86zxg3a7uun4gdonizy35vjxb83h0hfy

For years we've had to fly in deer-whisperes from as far away as Canada and USA to deal with petrified deer in our forests who have seen PH.
We've even had geese trekking north again one year!

Frederik today during the state visit from Belgium.
Bringing out a fancy suit for this special occasion

That's how to do it!

Nice, practical coat.
Practical scarf - no vivid colors - yet...
But the suit takes the cake. No shirt and tie-slipping under the button.

I like that slimmer cut suit on Frederik. It has a sort of Duke of Windsor look to it.

I think Frederik looked really good yesterday! The suit was a great cut and style on him - a modern cut with a traditional twist in the use of that check material.

I also agree there was something of the Duke of Windsor about him yesterday, but also I noticed his grandfather, King Frederik IX, in him as well for the first time.

Agree Frederik looked fantastic yesterday, even though double-breasted suits are not my favorite, yesterday's had a modern vibe about it that looked great.

Today just as fantastic with a nice suit:cool:

But of course, we can always count on Joachim to bring out the velvet

Luckily for us he choose a more "calm" color

:previous: And his farbror (paternal uncle) Frederik. :D
I still have nightmares about the burberry suit Frederik wore in Australia years ago.

So Nikolai has now officially come out of the closet as a fully fledged male of the DRF. (We need a fanfare-plyaing smiley)
