Empress Masako looks beautiful and the Japanese royal housing always looks modern which is nice.
 
She looks lovely :flowers:

Its different seeing them with only pearls on this year. We usually get the tiaras and matching necklaces. I assume they did away with those this year due to the pandemic situation.

I thought this green outfit was brand-new! I'm astonished it's a repeat from 2002 - it looked lovely and modern then and it still does now. The designer has done an excellent job in creating something that transcends the years.

Very pretty dress suit and I am just delighted any time we get to see her.

On my monitor the outfit is a lovely subtle bronzey color and she looks great!

Not a good look imho. Very granny-like.
 
I do like the blue velvet gown, I would have liked a clearer photo of it. It's not perfect but I do like it.
