Thank you monic! We will just put it down to another Mary mystery to be solved. Like the last dress with the beautiful shawl she wore to a dinner. She keeps us on out toes sometime.

She reminded me a little of Catherine Zeta-Jones when she accepted her oscar when heavily pregnant and used the same trick of drawing attention upwards to her 'assets' rather than down to her bump. It is quite a common style trick.

Well, there is a slight difference between an actress and a Crown Princess, I think. A Crown Princess should rather not "drawing attention upwards to her 'assets' ".

I'm quite confused. In which photo can we see her 'assets' so clearly?! I didn't see anything... Honestly.

I too would think a little less cleavage was better but pregnant ladies nowadays don't hide away perhaps if a lace or material insert in the same midnight blue had been added it might have looked more decorous. Perhaps in the flesh it did not look as revealing?
This one Noormeanslight. I agree it isn't pornographic and is a beautiful color for her. I would rather see her upper body like this than some pregnant ladies who expose themselves from the waist in ill fitting maternity wear.

Oh, I see what you mean. You're right, it's more obvious here. But all in all, it was an elegant look for a pregnant woman.

You're welcome dee4855 .
There are some unresolved mysteries about Mary, that's true! I'm afraid the only way to sort them out would be to move to Denmark and reside next to the Royal Palace. We would have an eye almost on everything there!

That sounds like a wonderful plan. I have always wanted to visit there. We lived in England in the early 80's. To bad it was not closer to Diana I could have kept an eye on her too.

Mary looks absolutely radiant and is the most gorgeous pregnant women i have ever seen. The colour and style is lovely and flattering. She looks happy and regal. I am absolutely busting to see these babies.

I could not have said it better, missjane, and I won't even try. Mary is the epitome of how a Crown Princess should look.

It's nice to open this thread and read such admiring posts like yours. But in terms of fashion and style she's definitely regal and the one and only.
Her impeccability in this field couldn't be undermined.

Are you suggesting Mary is the one and only with the regal fashion style???

I meant she's got her own unique style and, besides, looks very regal, Cinderella.

HEALTHY! Key word is HEALTHY belly. I remember when my doctor said I was supposed to gain only thus and such amount of weight. Russo had 2 premies and didn't gain what she should have. Then there are those who take the doctor's advice literally and do not gain an ounce more and I fear the baby suffers for that. She is glowing, healthy and lovely.

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this...But I have a question because I am curious about something...It is related to post-partum Mary at the christening and what she will wear...At Christian's she wore blue, blue for boys and at Isabella's she wore pink, a nice dusky ppink, pink for girls...Hypothetically, if the twins are a boy and a girl, will she wear a blue and pink ensemble? Not really fan of blue and pink together, but I like the idea of navy blue (darkish) and hot pink (bright) that could work...And the pre-requisite white floral headpiece :) A hot pink shift dress peeking out from a navy blue frock coat, that is totally Mary's style, navy blue pumps to tone done the bright pink...
Totally trivial and jumping the gun....but these things matter

^ I think it's too early for that. Be sure that we here, on TRF, will know it before anyone else.
