Hopefully Princess Mary does visit these boards and depending on how contrary she wants to be, we might see a whole new gamut of one particular (popular ) style OR we will never ever see it again...

Thank you. Then the shoes are definitelly too pale. Red or black would be better.

I agree, tan pumps keep the focus on the vibrant red coat...and not a ponytail in sight

What dress? Can you post a picture of a dress she wore?

I don't think it was a ponytail she wore this time. At least doesn't look like one in this picture.

I always wonder when Mary does not remove her coat whether the dress underneath is just a really plain shift not meant to be worn on its own. Tonight is one example, but also there was the opening of Parliament (who could forget the much-debated short hemline) and another recent time when she wore a black coat (with purple hat and shoes) all day to an air museum, I believe.

Mary has some very nice coats and by looking at the weather behind her she needs them. I also have to say I really like the shoes with the whole look. It is very stylish at the moment.

Sorry, Cinderella, you didn't pick on my facetiousness/sarcasm...that was the point, after all the ponytail discussion Mary must have come to the boards, listened to all our opinions, 'and NOT a ponytail in sight' I did write 'not', didn't I ?

Yes, she came and listened, I am sure.
