January 15, 2014 - Mary in a lace top matched with a pencil skirt. She wore a grey coat while arriving.

I don't like that coat at all. IMO it seems so big on her and I really don't like the length. No, that's a no-go for me. But then Mary takes that coat off she looks absolutely gorgeous! So beautiful! I love the high-waisted black skirt with the delicate pink lace top. I have always liked delicate colors to Mary's own dark colors. Her hair and jewelry is lovely as well.

Even though the blouse has a nude underblouse, it still appears to be see-thru and not really appropriate for work duty imo. More for private wear.

I don't like the coat with the outfit and I am not a fan of lacy tops on anyone not just Mary I do like the colour on her though and though I like the bag and the shoes it all seems not to be her usual style IMO

I love the color and it certainly looks nice on her...but I had the same reaction as you. Just doesn't seem appropriate for the occasion.

Mary loves her lace, doesnt she. I remember the opening of parliament or more recently in church where she wore lace tops and they looked very much out of place. IMO unless its an evening function, the lace shoud stay at home, and even then, it doesnt look good most of times.

to me her outfit yesterday is to die for i think mary looks fantastic, but i also love lace tops also as normal day clothes as long as you have a underblouse on of course ;-) dont like the coat!!

Actually you aren't. I love the coat. The blouse is nice but I would have preferred it with a black camisole/lining underneath to match the skirt.

Mary today at the opening of the 200-year anniversary of Almueskoleloven 1814, Copenhagen.
Looking very Winter chic IMO in a recycled black/white outfit with dark suede boots.
I like the length on the dress composed with the boots.

No for me this time. I really dont like it when the coat is too short for the dress and the dress hangs down below it. And the white rollneck with dress/pinafore/whatever - that's at home wear for me. But I like the boots.

February 6, 2014 - Mary at an awards ceremony wearing all black and a lovely skirt which looks like it has lace on it. The skirt is a pretty cut and Mary looks good.

I don't like to see her in skirts, I do prefer to see her in dresses!! I think is this kind of skirt that doesn't suit her...

Mary looks elegant but although I like the skirt, there's something "off" about her outfit. There's a lot of black going on there. (Perhaps Princess Charlene gave her some fashion tips!* )

* = That was a joke - I know Charlene has been starting to experiment with other colours.

This is not her typical look, she doesn't look good. The reason why I don't like her look is this kind of skirts generally makes one look fatter. Just not my cup of tea..
