Well, I don't know the girl, so I'm not going to post anything about her "great" personality, because she could be great or an asshole, I've no idea. The first thing that atracted me from her were her looks and fashion choices (in fact, that's why I was a moderator at fashionistcharlottecasiraghi yahoo group)and I intend to keep talking about them.
If you find it soooo boring and unnecesary, go and read the Financial Times, and leave us be.

i agree with you....since we do not know her other than the fact she is the daughter of princess caroline, was a horsewoman, dating felix and friends to some pretty and rich girls, ...that leaves us to comment on the appearance.. , ...it's really hard not to do, since she's really pretty...IMHO

i find the comments to be basically respectable and honest. charlotte is a public figure and therefore will always be judged because unfortunately, that's just the way it is. i think criticising her style is fine as long as it's not blatantly aggressive and in some way hurts her directly and people on this board. with that said...

let's get back to charlotte! i love it that she's attending all of these shows because 1) i really want to know what kind of designers she's into and 2) more pictures of her!

she's definitely into chanel as we saw during national day festivities wherein she wore chanel all the way...then we've seen her carrying Givenchy shopping bags, Gap, and she's worn Dior, Alberta Ferretti...hm, and she's attended a Miu Miu show as well..so I guess she's into a lot of designers.

Don't forget J.P. Tod's (the blue "Candy bag" from that designer she toted a lot in 2005). Also Converse... Char and her brothers have been big fans of Converse for years. Adidas too. For some reason, Char favors Adidas, but Andrea and Pierre have tended to wear Nike (Andrea and his red Nikes, Pierre with his blue Nike cap which he loaned to Char in Zurs this year, as you can see in my avatar...) but Char has been pretty consistent to Adidas (shoes, athletic pants). Which is good....because Nike sucks!

My French teacher told me that Nike is generally not sold anywhere in France because the name has a rude meaning in French language. Maybe that's why the Casiraghi boys have chosen to wear the brand - they want to appear street smart.

Those of you who live in France: is that true what I've been told by my teacher? Are Nike products really hard to get in France?

I live in France. I don't thought than adidas is more popular than nike. That's true than if you pronounce the word "nike" using french pronunciation, it's a little bit vulgar. But, we usually use english pronunciation.

It's not true, you can find Nike articles anywhere in France and it's quite sold a lot. Nobody pronounce it in the French way because everybody knows that i's an American brand. We are nt that stupid. I don't know where you're French teacher got that one !!!

I have issues with Nike. And they recently bought Converse,I think, so Converse is a bit shady to me too, but I must do more research before I pass too much judgement. But, here we go, political discussions don't belong here.
The Converse tennies are adorable, so I can see why Char likes them. They are comfortable too, I admit, but they suck in a way because the soles are very cheaply made.

She also likes to wear Karl Lagerfeld and Gucci. I can also tell in different pictures she loves little kids and animals. After all she's a Leo.

I like Charlotte's sense of style. She really dresses very well and most of all I like the fact that she uses casual lothes for everyday life
