I wish Her Royal Highness would adopt a better hairstyle. It tends to fly about which isn't really easy to cope with. If you look at the Queen, Princess Anne, Princess Alexandra et al, they favour shorter hairstyles usually with lots of hairspray! Princess Anne never has the problem the Duchess does.

I read somewhere that Charles loves Camilla's hair, and if it makes him happy, my guess is she'll never change.

I think that what stands out the most even more so than her fabulous hat collection, is the absolute admiration that Charles and Camilla have for one another. It is so obvious to see the pleasure that they derive from being in each others company. That counts more than any dress, shoe, hat or bauble!:)

She doesn't seem to let much time pass before re-wearing an outfit.

Today's suit with the pleats at the sleeves worn at the Sandringham Flower Show was worn at the first garden party I think.

Couldn't tell what she was wearing on her feet, though.

Thanks for the link.

I really like Camilla's style. In the past couple of years she has become increasingly more elegant and stylish.

Default Camilla, The Duchess of Couture

Camilla has only been a member of the firm for 5 months yet she is already influencing fashion. I think she looks rather nice ever since becoming legit. I have to confess I like her big hats. I would like to see her expand her style a little bit more though.

I sincerely hope that the Duchess of Cornwall doesn't adopt Princess Anne's hairstyle. Princess Anne is wonderful but I hate her hair!

Yes It is that bad she's been wearing that same bun for 20 years. It is definitely time for a new style.

Anne's hair is so severe for her, it makes her look much older than she is. And there's no variety -- either whipped back or down.

On Camilla's hats, I was looking at the link just above and notice that many of the designers are offering 1920s style cloches, in addition to Camilla's big hats. I hope she stays away from those (but they would look lovely on Viscountess Linley). I also noticed that some of the hats resemble some old Diana and Fergie hats, like the tricorn, the great big bows looked like some Fergie wore. There were even some hats that resembled the one Johnny Carson wore as Karnak the Magnificent.

Default Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall's Style

I am thinking that Camilla is not really a bad looking woman at all. When she was young, she was rather cute. Even now, as an older, mature lady of the world, I think she would look much nicer if she had a different hair style. Her hair style seems to be what is unflattering for her face. Do you think I am wrong here? Would she not look much better with a more chic hair style? Perhaps if she grew it out more and wore it straight and sleek, without having those flip-ups at the ends, or if she went for a shorter, Sienna Miller cut.... I don't know. I think her hair style is at fault for making her look poorly. IF she would fix that, then she might be so much prettier. I might be wrong, but I think it's an interesting thing to consider. I wonder what she would be like with other styles.

I think that too but you know tabloids had their own agenda and they tried to persuade people that she was ugly wicked witch :)

You are right but it was said that Prince Charles didn't want her to change her 70s hair style.

Personally I can't imagine Camilla without her well known hair-do, I think a trendy one just wouldn't work. It's like Beatrix without the helmet hair: it just isn't possible! I really can't imagine how Camilla would look like if she had another hair style... interesting point you make there! :)

Warren suggested in a PM that someone should do a CGI for Camilla with different styles. I'm not sure, but I'm assuming that is some sort of image altering effect.

I think when Camilla was young, she looked better not only because of the obvious (being younger) but also because her hair in the ??late 60s? (I am thinking of a particular pic of her posing with, ??her mom? in front of a fireplace) she had this long sleek hair. That was much more flattering for her type of face. What she has been doing since the 70s..... ah, I don't know how to say it without being mean. Did someone say Prince Charles likes that haircut? Well, hmm, "attractive" is a subjective term, no argument, but hem.... Dear Dear Prince of Wales, dear dear. What shall we say about him? I love him dearly, but he is so bizarre sometimes....:p

I dont know, its also hard for me to imagine Camilla without her famous hair. It isnt really that bad. It does suit her. But I would like her hair a little bit longer, more color, and some how out of her face. Maybe a mix of Letizia and Maxima. But I dont think many hair styles would work on her. She has a very strong face so you cant have hair going straight down the side of her face, it would look to wierd. If anybody has that image altering program please try some different hairstlyes. I thought she looked best with soft curls. She was on a visit with charles in the late spring and she wore a pink tweed jacket and had her hair in soft curls. She looked really good there and had nice make up. Does anybody have that pic.

i didn't think camilla was attractive when she was younger but i do think she's a person that ages very well and becomes more attractive as she gets older. as for the hair i don't think she would look good with a trendy style but i do wish she'd update it somehow. the 70's thing just doesn't look nice anymore.
