Dame Helen Mirren has a one pager interview in US Vanity Fair this month (August, actually). It's p. 62, though it is not yet up on the website. Her Dame-ness waxes much about her royal roles, gets a bit bawdy (per usual) and the last para of the piece is her insightful take on what it must be like to be the queen.

It was worth the read and made me smile.

I just need to mention that it bothers me that Freddie's grey hairs seem photo-shopped out on the cover. I like his salt!
