I love the new family photo! Based on Sofia's clothes and hairstyle I guess the family picture was taken last week before or after CP and Sofia had an engagement together.

How quickly has King Carl Gustav and Queen Sylvia's family of grandchildren expanded in the last few years. This is great news. I suppose the parents wanted only a small gap between their children so they could be playmates and companions.

well spotted! sofia did not seem to be showing her pregnancy much in that case. a pic from their latest event when sofia put on some boxing gloves - the dress seems quite figure hugging and does not seem to show a bump at all.

Am I the only one who is not surprised? I never thought that they would wait for long, and there was something about her expression lately that made me speculate quietly.
Needless to say that I hope for a girl. I'm a tiara addict after all.

Not really surprised. I thought they would be like Madeleine abd have closer.
I kind of hope for a little girl. Then all three siblings have one of each. Also fitting, the girls both have a girl first then a boy, and their brother the opposite, Alex has two male cousins close in age to play with.

Wow, that was surprising - and quick! But delightful news all the same, congratulations to them. There will be a lot of little cuties in the SRF who are all of a similar age. At least the children will know they're never short of a playmate!
The new photo of the family is beautiful, as well. Alexander has grown up a lot since the last time we saw photos of him, he's gorgeous and appears to be a bonny baby too.
