She also said it´s blue, when she gave an interview to Aftonbladet in winter 2003.
I wonder if her apartment(s) are furnished and painted in blue (in combination with other colours of course). Personally I think blue doesn´t fit to Madeleine as person. At least not for dresses. Well, light blue is ok for her.

So I suggest (and the other moderators at TRF) that the one, who has posted an article should write a short translation/explanation, so that other non-swedish (or norwegian, danish...) speakers understand about what the article deals.
And to Yennie, it´s super-nice that you provide us with articles, but please write 1 or 2 sentences explanation. What I´ve seen your english is quite good...so it shouldn´t be a problem :)

Swedish channel TV4 wants Madeleine to join the party for the winner of the swedish version of "pop idol" at the night club Kharma.
According to Expressen Madeleine and Jonas are big fans of the show (seems the Royal children watch all the trash, the swedish TV-channels offer).

I think it's very similar to that...the English translation is something like "My Big Day..." and I think the idea behind the organization and what they do is very similar if not exactly like the American, "Make a Wish Foundation."

Hon träffade Carl Philip 1999 under en segling från Smögen. Mamma Pamela Pernald, 57, är ekonom och driver ett revisionsföretag. Pappa Svenne Pernald, 61, arbetar som ekonomichef på ett emballageföretag i Göteborg.

Pr. Madeline will be one of the Royals featured this Sunday on the E! True Hollywood Story: Young Royals. It is on American Cable TV this Sunday at 8pm. I think this episode is two hours (most are only one hour). I saw the preview for it and she was pictured. The show will also replay at 11pm.

THORPE PROMISES SWEDISH PRINCESS A FAST TIME

STOCKHOLM, Tuesday: Ian Thorpe has joined Princess Madeleine of Sweden at the Annual Swedish Sports Awards Gala Dinner on the eve of the the FINA World Cup swimming meet to be held in a snow-drenched Stockholm over the next two days.

After an enjoyable evening, “The Thorpedo” wasted no time in returning the favour and has invited the stunning 20-year-old Princess to the first night’s swimming (Wednesday morning, Australian time).

Australian team High Performance Director, Greg Hodge liaised with the Swedish Royal Family and organised a seat for the 20-year-old Australian Swimming superstar to the Gala Dinner, held in an indoor Ice Rink next door to the Australian Team’s hotel.

To the surprise of his Australian Telstra Dolphin team mates and support staff, Thorpe bobbed up on National Television, sitting next to Princess Madeleine.

Hodge said: “It was such a hoot. We all sat back and watched on the television from our hotel rooms and here’s Thorpie sitting next to the Princess on Swedish national television.

“I spoke to Ian when he returned to the hotel (early I might add) and he said he and the Princess had a very enjoyable evening. They were both delighted by the event, so much so that he invited her to watch him swim and be a special guest of the Australian team at the pool tomorrow night.

“Ian has promised that if she came he would produce some speedy performances in the pool.”

Thorpe will swim only the 400 metres freestyle on night one, before making his international debut in the 200 metres individual medley on day two after already defeating Dutchman, Pieter van den Hoogenband in a world class 200 metre freestyle in Paris at the weekend.

The 16-strong Telstra Dolphins team have all but recovered from a food poisoning scare that saw only four swimmers compete at the Paris meet. As the snow falls in Stockholm a rejuvenated team will look to reinstate themselves in the pool in Sweden prior to the lead up to the final World Cup meet in Berlin, Germany on January 25-26
