But I didn´t see anybody of the Bernadotte family.
I see there many trees where devote for family members, for birth, dead or an other reason. I really like this, its so intimate.

So nevertheless, thank you for your information, GrandDuchess
The King and Queen were on Mainau on Saturday. You can see pictures here.

I've been to Mainau too, and I agree - it's a wonderful place and really deserves it's name as "blumeninsel". That Italian staircase or whatever it was called was really great.

oh, i see on one of those pictures, that the garden gnome is ready.

I was there, when they started with this figure. And last year, when the Rhododendron was blooming.
I love this island!
There I read for the first time the name Bernadotte :)
The next time i go there, i will keep an eye on if someone of the kungafamilj will be there:p

Isn´t "Lord of Bavaria" the godfather of CP?

ROTTNEROS
Prinsen invigde mc-utställningen

FOTO: HÅKAN STRANDMAN
Samlares Mecka.

CP is just a gentlemen

He helped his sister Madde when her skirt was flowing up by the wind.
The entered a ship named Dannebrog for a dinner, as the skirt makes its own way , so CP has to help his sister and hold down the skirt.

--> Gentlemen

Hello Amina, late but not to late I hope.

Yes Carl Philip studies.
During 1984- 86, Prince Carl Philip attended the Västerled parish preschool. In the autumn of 1986, he started school at Smedslättsskolan in Bromma which he attended at junior level. For the intermediate level, the Prince attended Ålstensskolan in Bromma, proceeding from there, in the autumn of 1992, to senior level at Enskilda Gymnasiet in Stockholm. In the autumn of 1994 Prince Carl Philip enrolled at Kent, a private school in Conneticut, where he spent two years. The Prince then continued his studies in a science programme at Lundsberg upper secondary school. He graduated in the spring of 1999.

The Prince completed his military service at the Amphibious Batallion at Vaxholm´s Coast Artillery Regiment as a combat boat commander (Combat Boat 90) in the autumn of 2000. In December 2002, the Prince was promoted to fänrik (second Lieutnant) in the Royal Swedish Navy.

With a great interest for design and drawing, the Prince began studying Graphic Design in Stockholm in 2003, studies which he continues still.

Thank you for the link, Kiwian!

Hmmm, so is the prince the scruffy lookin' guy with the ball cap?
"scruffy"...tztztztztz...well, when one complains about Daniel´s trucker hats, then one has to be consistent and has to complain about CP´s hat as well (even though a trucker cap does always mean a higher grade of bad taste)

I guess Mixer and me wouldn´t mind to test such a wroom-wroom as well. Usually he would now make a little teasing misogynic statement. But I guess Mixer (the guy with the top graded diploma thesis!) is today in a too good mood for such things

Just a reminder - Prince Carl Philip was appointed Lieutenant in December 2004. But it seems the Royal Court's website profiles aren't up to date on these things.

I believe that Carl Philip has graduated from school. Where does he work now?
