There's still a big difference. Guns are made for killing and cars are made for driving. ;)

Yep, and that's why i personally don't have a problem with teenagers driving go-karts, and do with a guns (in my case: guns period, but that's just m.o.)

Anyway, i hope that P.C-P soon manages to get some positive news with his racing hobby, because there wasn't much of that this year...
 
The 14 year old wasn't driving a go cart it was an actual race care , she was doing what she wanted to do. I don't think children should be allowed to use guns either it is not necessary.

The Gold Coast 600 race in V8 Supercars was from Friday to today, so if he doesn't stay for a holiday, I think he should soon return to Sweden. He has next work event at his calendar on 12th November.

According to the updated STCC calendar, Carl Philip doesn't have time for a long honeymoon after the wedding, if he wants to race at the first ever evening race of STCC, in Mantorp Park on 25th June.

Volvo Polestar Racing is going to field the most merited driver line-up ever for the 2015 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship with drivers Thed Björk, Fredrik Ekblom and Prince Carl Philip.

I hope the Prince remains silent about sustainability, nature preserve, the carbon footprint or the ozone layer. With his racing hobby he is the least trustworthy person to voice any worries about this... This sort of hobbies also only serves an image as a spoiled brat, in my humble opinion.
 
CP's involvement in races : there has just been an important international motor race in Sweden last weekend, he did not participate!? Not in his field? he does not qualify for that sort of events? So he chooses that moment to switch over to design??
I did not even see he a attended the race, gave out the prize to the winner... totally irrelevant for him?

Carl Philip races at STCC, which is driven at a race track. Last weekend was the Rally of Sweden. Carl Philip has driven rally for fun for a couple of times and he has delivered the prizes at the Rally in many years but this time he obviously had something more important to him, he attended at the Frankfurt Fair Ambiente 2015.
 
STCC official tests before the season starts are next week, 23-24 April at Ring Knutstorp.

The first STCC races are on Saturday at the Skövde Airport, a new track. On Friday they have the tests and qualification.
Prince Carl Philip starts his third STCC season this year and comes boosted by a strong pre-season test two weeks ago where he was seventh fastest overall.
”I was pleased with the test and that is of course a boost ahead of the season start. Adding to the excitement this weekend is the new circuit and I am very much looking forward to start racing again,” said Prince Carl Philip.

There hasn't been serious crashes or accidents during the two years Carl Philip has raced in STCC. The cars get a little damaged but the drivers haven't been hurt.

On Thursday the reporter of Skaraborgs Allehanda and municipal commissioner Catherine Jonsson and communicator Anna Hartung from Skövde got to know how it feels to sat at Carl Philip's car. Carl Philip drove all of them three laps at the Skövde airport racetrack. He didn't want to give interviews.

I've spent a lot of my life hanging on fences at races and loved every moment of it.
Qualifiing and racing are two very different skills. This is as true for the driver as it is for the team that prepares his/her car.
 
Next STCC races for Carl Philip on Saturday at the Anderstorp race track, the tests and qualifications are on Friday.

Prince Carl Philip equalled his best ever qualifying result with ninth in the season opener and is avid to continue pushing forward.
”We had the speed in Skövde but unfortunately got involved in some incidents in the races. But I have a good feeling ahead of Anderstorp and I hope to be able to continue push forward, especially in terms of race results,” said Prince Carl Philip.

Prince Carl Philip lost vital time in the test session due to technical issues, meaning that he had only completed two laps in dry conditions as qualifying started. The 36-year-old is going to start tenth in the first race.
”The issues during testing meant that we lost a lot of valuable work on the setup. With that in mind, tenth on the grid is okay and I am ready to get the most out of the race day tomorrow,” said Prince Carl Philip.
The reversed grid rule means that Prince Carl Philip starts eleventh in the second race.
