jaja good one JessRulz. I don't really know what to think of Maxima's outfit. Not quite my taste, but sure love the hat Can't wait to see the rest of her outfits

This outfit I have to say I'm not liking very much at all. The top part is possibly alright. I think the whole complete outfit is not very good at all. And what is it with royal women dressing somewhat down when their royal counterpart is dressed in a suit? I've seen this with other royal couples when on official visits. Most recently with Mette-Marit during the China visit. It just looks weird to me! He's in a suit and she's not as dressed up.

I don't like it either, very boring and dull. The small spotlight accessoire is missing.

Judging from the pic above, Maxima follows the tradition of royal women with bad hair days. She could have seen her hairdresser before travelling and have some fresh highlights done. Sorry but that hairline does not look very appealing.

Yes, agreed Duke of Marmalade. Her hair is looking a bit stringy, imo. It looks like some time was spent straightening it and I'm not so sure the best look for her is having board straight hair. It seems to always make it appear stringy.

Thanks for the pics.

About Máxima's first outfit: I like the leopard dress and I love her hat. The only thing I don't like is the jacket. Maybe the leopard print dress is kind of wild for a official visit. Something a bit calmer wouldn't hurt but she's lovely anyway.

About this outfit, I find it horrible. Especially the pants. Her sunglasses are so Great!

Wow, look at that first picture in post 24; thats a breathtaking view! I can't translate the caption but it looks like they're at a lake but it looks like there is an island with a castle on it...am I right?

Yes you are right. They are at the lake Blejsko jezero. There is small island on the lake and on it is a church and not a castle.

That's what I think as well, as to my own Slovenian origins I'm happy
to see Maxima and WA there, I can't remember many other royal
guests there as long as I'm interested in royals They'll
surely see much more wonderful sites and I hope they'll find the
time to really enjoy it!

Indeed! And I believe these sunglasses were worn previously by Máxima in Norway, during the 'walk on the rocks', in occasion of Queen Sonja's 70th birthday, earlier in 2007 (or are at least very similar to those!)

Hola magazine already has an overview on their first day in Slovenia:

LA PRINCESA MÁXIMA VIAJÓ A ESLOVENIA EN UN AVIÓN PILOTADO POR SU MARIDO, EL PRÍNCIPE GUILLERMO

The title is "Princess Máxima travels to Slovenia in a plane with her husband Prince Willem as the pilot"

My question is: if he was smiling from the copilot's seat, isn't it possible that he was not being 'the pilot' but the 'copilot'. Either the picture we've all seen is inverted, or he exchanged seats to salute the photographers, or he was actually the copilot...?
