Default Willem-Alexander & Máxima´s Official Visit to Slovenia; 2-4 Oct. 2007

The Prince of Orange and Princess Maxima will pay an official visit to Slovenia from October 2nd to October 4th 2007. Post all the information, questions and links to pictures in this thread.

Predsednik Republike Slovenije

October 2nd

Arrival and welcome at the Presidential Castle at Brdo by HE President Janez Drnovsek.

Visit at - and meeting with the Chair of - Parliament,Ljubljana.

Visit at Bled Castle

Visit to IEDC School of Management,Bled,and meetings with alumni and students.

Dinner at the Presidential Castle.Both the President and The Prince of Orange will speech.

October 3rd

Visit at the town hall of Novo Mesto,welcome by the mayor.

Visit to the Lokal Patriot project,a non-profit culturel organisation by and for students.Talks on youth policy.

Visit at Tribo Company,Trebnje

Meeting with Foreign Minister HE Mr.D.Rupel,Mocrice Castle at Jesenice na Dolenjskem,followed by a luncheon,the main theme being Europe.

Visit to the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana where The Prince of Orange will speech after which the couple will meet with students.

In the evening the couple will attend the official start of the Fokus month culturel event at the Theater of Ljubljana with the opening performance by the dutch four-men formation "Ashton Brothers".

October 4th

Visit to BIA Seperations,a company specialised in Biotechnology.

The visit to Slovenia will be concluded with a reception at the Town Hall of Ljubljana followed by a walk-about through the center of the City and a visit to the St.Nicholas Cathedral.The walk-about will end at the National Library.

Are you referring to the wording "pay a visit"? It simply means "visit" or "do a visit", nothing to do with pay = money. That's just the expression.
So I guess the taxpayer will pay the money, as always

Funny JessRulz. I think Maxima looks good, but she's looked better. I too like the hat. Hope she wears more vibrant colors though.

I do not like what she is wearing, some sort of jacket with a bow/knot tied in front and I always have considered animalprints rather tacky/common even on a princess.
