Queen Máxima as UN Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development took part in the first International Day of Family Remittances in Milan, Italy, today, June 16. It's the first day of the Global Forum on Remittances and Development being held from June 16-19. The forum aims to launch a discussion on the contribution migrant workers can make to their families' prosperity and to economic growth and development in the developing countries they come from.

wow, maxima is certainly non stop! from china, to having to come back due to illness and springing back up to be with mary at the shelter conference in the hague, following a flash visit to london, another flash visit to switzerland, and now off to bangladesh! she is impressive and such a hard working royal. it is hard not to like her... ;)

Hm will also attend and speech at the G20 Summit in Antalya,Turkey this coming sunday at the launch of the SME Finance Forums Global Network.The Turkish vice-minister-president for Economy & Finance and Queen Máxima co-host this meeting.

Nice to see her going out there and doing the work! Love this appearance, can't wait for her following appearances. P.S. she looks great. Wonder if she was sipping one of those smooth, delicious Pakistani chai in one of the pictures :)
