Indeed, perhaps they expected many elderly viewers? I didn't have any trouble with understanding the accent. In the construction of the sentences I could hear very little mistakes.
I thought it was a quite open documentary. At one point we even see HM taking a call from one of her daughters, teling the daughter that she has to be home on time & ask her father for permission for something. It gave a rather open picture of her work, which seems to have more çontent' to it than one would normally assume. Sometimes you can even see her frustration with certain things at work. I think it was quite well done, not as fluffy as royal documentaries usually tend to be.
