Nice to see frm. president Venetiaan there.

And Máxima's hair looks in order again, and she seems all dressed up for the occassion...

The van Nelle factory is a rather nice (and famous) piece of architecture btw, take a look here and here.

I believe that red jacket that HRH wore during the 'Young People in Africa' was already used during her engagement period, 7 years ago. And she still fits it, after having 3 children in such a short period, chapeau!

Maxima looked wonderful during these visits. One of the things that I admire most about her is that she always looks very interested and excited when she is taking part in these visits. Some royals look very stoic and subdued, but when I look at Maxima, I have no doubt that she is genuinely interested and passionate about the organisations she visits. It is so lovely to see.

HRH will receive a book on the World Championships Football in Argentina in 1978 during the dirty war.

The Princess will receive the first copy today at Noordeinde Palace by one of the players of the then Argentina team,
and the chair of the Crazy Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, mrs.Nora Morales de Cortinas. The "main Loca" as I affectionately call her.

Very brave of HRH,she marks, again, that she does care and does oppose that page in the Argentine history. Not the first time either,
she has met with representatives of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo several times over the years, allthough little to nothing is known
of these meetings,or as the Princess herself stated once;" I don't have these meetings for publicity".

In Argentina,it is clear, very clear, that it hasn't deald with its recent past yet. Some scream from the top of their lungs that she is
stabbing her father in back by having contact let alone accept this book by the aforementioned persons."And it is an outcry she
calls herself Argentinian" and more of that insignificant blubber, anyway, she is more DUTCH then anything else, those h de p's have
forgotten that.I think it is darn brave of her to do so.Who cares for the leftovers of the scumbags and their opinions? Exactly!None.
At least not in the civilised world.

Bravo Máxima!!See you later!

And yes, they're very very locas

Aren't the Madres just adorable?

Well, I don't think Máxima has that many options, I mean if she would have refused to receive the book I am sure that that would have created some bad press over here. And of course she might be sincire in regretting the murders, rapes, 'disappearances and other atrocities of the Videla regime, I suppose most people have come to that conclusion, though there will always be idiots who write on internet editions like in the Argentinian newspapers, calling Maxima a traitor (of the fascist cause?).

According to royalblog Máxima had a long talk with former Arg. international Leopoldo Luque and one of the mothers of the murdered people: Nora Morales de Cortiñas, at home in Wassenaar. The conversation lasted for 2 1/2 hours. The couple was said to be very interested and esp. Máxima seemed impressive. They took the time for everybody, asked a lot of questions and the prince did this all in Spanish too.

They said he spoke Spanish the entire time, during the two and a half hours they visited the couple. That implies that he is able to converse and understand Spanish at a reasonable level. I am not sure if that is the same as being fluent in it though.
