I agree with you there and she's especially cuter when she's smiling. :)

That is adorable. I love the way that they prepared her for the coming of her sister, giving her a doll to "practice" on. It really shows that they are loving and caring parents.

Awwwwwwww, I'm melting into a big ol' baby-lovin' puddle!:) They're both so sweet and adorable. Love the little curlyness in Amalia's hair at the back, too. Totally precious.

As we use to say in our family: very strong genes, those Orange genes. ;-)

Does anyone know what color of eyes little Amalia has? Also, how can her hair get so blonde. She was a strawberry blonde before and now her hair is almost white--any special shampoo to accomplish this? What do you think?

Roxteve, it is possible for hair to become that light-colored in a short time period, but my take is that that process could well have been sped up by some exposure to the soothing sun rays of porto Ercole for example. Amalia's parents are known to take their leisure time quite seriously (and if I were them, I'd probably do the same!), so I don't rule out Amalia has enjoyed some time abroad which helped her become this light-haired.

But I agree with you that compared to her birthday pictures from last December for example, it almost looks like Alex and Maxima have borrowed a brand-new child, Amalia's face seems to have changed incredibly much in such a limited time period!

But then it's of course quite typical, normal, natural for such young kids to change that much in the span of mere months!

Thank you for your input Princess Olga. I totally agree with your thoughts. Children change a lot in a few months. Do you happen to know her eye color? I'm curious--she looks a lot like her grandma but my take is that she will look more and more like Maxima especially if she has dark eyes like her mom.

From pictures, her eyes look dark brown. I agree, she does look a lot like Maxima as a child. But she has a rounder face and facial features a lot like her father's.

I think at the age of 4, so she has to wait a little while longer...
