Princess Maxima is always immaculately dressed with a big smile!
I respect this woman!

Gee! I must have been asleep for several years now, because I always knew that he was in the air force and the navy but I never thought of it that he changed his uniforms! Thanks for pointing it out, Marengo! Now I have some new royal detail to watch on Prinsjesdag (and other occasions...)!Marengo said:the one with the tie is the uniform of the navy (you can see two small anchors) and the closed one is the uniform of the air force (you can see two wings somewhere on the uniform).
Marengo said:not to disappoint you, but he changes it every year, so you can prodict for the future:

2007-air force
2008-navy, etc...

Marengo said:Thanks! I didnt even notice the difference in epauletes. I prefer the one of the airforce.
Did Willem-Alexander actually join all these militairy parts?

Thanks Carlota, do you know where these pictures were taken? It seems to be argentina (as in this month nobody here would go outside in clothes like that).
Maxie said:I don't know exactly when they were taken, but it's a long time ago. I've seen this pictures before and it's quite a time ago, maybe even before their marriage, but I'm not sure of that, so it might as well be in Holland during the summer...

What kind of respect is it to say that a healthy little girl has Downs Syndrome? Downs Syndrome is not something that comes and goes its a permanent thing, Amalia had when she was very little very strong Orange feautures and was a wee crosseyed but anyone that sees her now can not doubt that she is completely healthy little girl.Princess Emma said:You can't be talking seriously of this picture. With all my respect to Princess C-A here she seems havinf Down Syndrome

Whats wrong with saying she has strong Orange (as in the family) feautures, she looks like a splitting image of her grandmother Queen Beatrix when she was a little girl, I certainly dont think saying that she looks like her family can be compared to saying she looked like she had Down Syndrom.Princess BellyFlop said:You seem quite upset but your comment shows good humor as some could feel it is worse to read «when she was very little very strong Orange feautures and was a wee crosseyed» instead of «she LOOKED LIKE she was having Down syndrome»!
